I'd like to say a big f#&% you to all of the dumbs#!ts in this country including those on Huskerboard who have been telling us for 4 years it's not a big deal, it's just a Tweet, his words don't matter, and anyone who acts on them is solely at fault, none of it is Trump's fault. If you actually think our f#&%ing congress would have been breached without Trump having said what he's said, and he's not to blame, you are even dumber than I thought. And that's hard because I already thought you were dumbs#!ts. What you were saying was basically saying there is no need to have a CEO of a company or a coach of a sports team because their words have no meaning and it's all on the employees and athletes to do whatever they'll do.

Thanks to a lot of you folks wanting to "humor" him, pretend his words carry no meaning, support his abhorrent ramblings and behavior... we're experiencing the first unpeaceful transition of executive power in the U.S. in hundreds of years.

Take a bow, a$$ clowns.

My God are the Silicon Valley Stalinists really this dense?  People are rioting over a perceived threat to democratic and the Left is acting to squelch their speech.

In Brian Kelly's 2010 words "Get used to it"
NDJ has surpassed troll to enemy of democracy. Defending terrorists committing insurrection now.

Could we please ban @Notre Dame Joe? He does not engage in honest discussion and only sows discord on the board. He is nothing more than a troll. Period. f#&% him. Tired of if his delusional bullsh#t.

Nobody, nobody will miss his contributions.

I don't understand why he's still allowed to post here. I don't think I've ever asked for anyone to be band here; but someone who can rationalize what happened in Washington today and actually defend it has no place spreading his vitrol here.

One thing I find especially stupid about the fear of librul city voters by rural/low pop. state voters who enjoy their power, because they think their way of life would be at stake without the electoral college, is that politicians suck up to the things people in rural/suburban areas like the most and get erections over.

The military

Christianity

Farmers

No politician knocks this stuff. They're scared s#!tless to do so. They go out of their way to show they support these things. They claim they're Christian even if they're not. No policy will ever be created that does a lot of damage to these things.

What is HuskerBoard doing to combat the support for trump's ramblings and behavior?

BRB questioningly accused two people of hating America. One of those two people objected and said it was a s#!tty thing to say.

Why is one of those a dishonest attempt at a conversation and the other not? It would seem like telling someone they hate America isn't exactly a step towards civil conversation, is it?

I haven't been a part of that conversation, but I can see how BRB's question could be interpreted as asking why the tagged individuals are the ones who hate America? Even though he was asking them why the protesters hated America, the wording of the question was not exactly clear. Archy was already under fire for his viewpoints so his response made sense.

That is how it looked to me, even though I think Archy has some pretty backward views, and I also respect and admire BRB as much as anyone else on this board.

(NDJ on the other hand is definitely an anti-American piece of $h!t)

Attempts to paint Archy as reasonable fall flat as he persisted in doing what he always does - trying to distract from the topic by shaking a shiny toy. He interpreted BRB's quite obvious post in yet another attempt to derail the conversation.

He consistently attempts to create a fog over things he's uncomfortable acknowledging. In this case, it's the fact that trump incited an insurrection.

He was told the meaning of the post, yet came back with this kind of reply:

Eddie Haskell chiming in.
And putting two peoples names down then asking why they hate America so much is honest discussion.  @Enhance

If HuskerBoard actually wants to stop people who humor trump and the things he stands for, then do it.

You are judging and accusing someone of violating Huskerboard guidelines yet seemingly blind to the objectionable behavior of others.

Is this not what you were doing here

1) I never said the EC was bad. This was your interpretation. The EC has strengths and weaknesses.

2) I also never said we should do it the way other countries do. I offered a perspective on how other countries have done it and you interpreted it as me saying I want to do it that way.

And again, you're trying to distract from the point by shaking a shiny toy in the other hand. As you mentioned, we have three equal branches of government. Yet, in a discussion about the process for electing the leader of the Executive Branch, you're continually trying to bring up questions about the other two. It's not germane or necessary in a conversation about the EB. In theory, one could make changes to how the president is elected without touching the process for the other two branches.

and here

Because the rest of your post was an obvious attempt to create a fog over something you're uncomfortable acknowledging. Instead of arguing the merits and facts of what was said, you tried to dismiss it with the wave of a hand and then interject unrelated issues.

It'd be like me saying "I think green could be a better color than yellow," and then you saying, "well, green existing is a poor reason to want it, but also then why don't we just make pesto the only condiment instead of mustard."
