My opinion is not necessarily representative of whether or not I believe someone is a) violating a Huskerboard guideline or b) here to have honest/dishonest conversations.

Objectionable behavior is often a two way street, and despite some of the trollish and flaming behavior often exhibited from numerous people in P&R, only a couple of people seem to draw heat or get reported for it. I've said this for what feels like 1,000 times here, but there are routine hypocritical accusations (particularly in P&R) of what constitutes trolling and what doesn't. Some of what people are accused of doing is done to them in kind, but the moment they do it, it's all of a sudden a problem.

Furthermore, these types of things are rarely unilateral. I'm one mod of many. So although I appreciate people tagging me to make me aware of certain issues, that doesn't necessarily mean I wield Thor's hammer and can make the board perfect for everyone. There's a process and a discussion and sometimes people may not like the end result.

Differing opinions aren't trolling, even if they are verifiably wrong.  The narrative that anyone who believes ________ is a troll is going to lead to an echo chamber.

Sorry, but there is a point where a person's wrong beliefs become more than just their opinion. Fact is fact. Truth is truth. And wrong is wrong. Just because some MFers aren't sharp enough to figure it out, we have to placate and pander to them? f#&% that.

If the ratio is 20 to 1, how is it harmful?  I'm certain this will get twisted into Trump apologist speak, but there are literally maybe a handful of Trumpers total that post in P&R that are completely outnumbered and often times run off by Leftists and Libertarians.

If it happens "often" it should be easy to recall someone. But obviously you're not going to support your statement.

You’re probably right on the ratio, IDK. But it doesn’t matter to me how outnumbered “they” may be. I am just completely fed up with seeing complete bullsh#t debated. I can put them on ignore but way too many others keep trying to engage and reason with them and their posts show up all over the place anyway. TBH I’m more passed at the people arguing with them than I am with the stupid MFers that actually believe this sh#t.

If I could avoid it and not see it, I’d have no problem with it. I don’t want an echo chamber and I’m no snowflake but I am totally exasperated and done with groundless, factless bullsh#t. But it’s okay, I’m about done with this POS board anyway. The f#&%ing ads.....they block anything you want to see or do, except seemingly for the stupid MFing delusional garbage of our resident Trumpers.

I feel a ban coming on. It would solve more than one of my problems.
