Frankly I don't care what you know or think you know.  I actually find it creepy I live in your head rent free, I'd prefer you put me on ignore and forget I exist.  But alas that can't be because you feel the need for some personal vindication.  Eventually you'll throw a big enough tantrum and get your way and I'll get permabanned and you'll make a Trumpesque mission accomplished speech and your dream of an echo chamber will be that much closer.

Until then, seriously put me on ignore dude.  You're a d!(k and you weird me out.

Any of you guys get a chance to read some posts from the new poster, Notre Dame Joe?

I think he has some really odd political views but I bet some of you can probably help him it and change his mind.

Exactly. Put him on ignore and nobody ever respond to him. Problem solved. We have too many that think they're going to edumacate somebody.

Yes!

So true!

Look, I am not a smart guy (I am handsome though) but I can remember growing up with my siblings and they only tried trolling you when you reacted.,

@Enhance can you give some context? I don't know what the post was but I know some have been talking about whether people who attempt a coup deserve to be executed, and am wondering if you're differentiating between that and whatever these posts were.

Huskerboard doesn't have a home for comments or even joking threats about causing serious harm or death to other people. I've seen a few things like this in the past few days and it would be best if we just keep those types of comments off Huskerboard.

Sorry to use you as an example here @JJ Husker but I've hidden your post. There are some others like it that I've seen in recent days and I'm going to try to hide those, as well.

I don't necessarily want to repeat what was said because I'm not even sure the Woodshed is a good location for such commentary, but it was a tongue-in-cheek remark about hurting the group of people in the tent that were watching the protests/riots unfold (Donald Trump Jr. was one of the people in the tent).

To your point/question, I think that's different and there's probably a way to have that conversation appropriately, but I would still suggest caution. I don't necessarily think it'd be a good idea for people to opine and campaign for someone to be executed, but asking the question and wondering whether or not it'd be a reasonable punishment for a certain situation could probably be done safely.

In the last 48hrs I've seen so many vastly different reactions to the Capitol riot it boggles me and honestly diminished my faith in humanity a bit.  It's the same feeling I had seeing responses to last years riots/protests when someone would get hurt or killed.  People celebrating it like it's some good thing solely because the person in question was on the other side of the political spectrum.  I just can't wrap my head around it.

Ya know, I’ve made a few of these sorts of comments lately. I don’t feel good about it and know I shouldn’t be this way. I haven’t always been. But I’ve seen enough horrible sh#t in my life and it’s calloused me and made me a tad bitter. So yeah, when I see someone who has been contributing to some of those horrible things eat it, my initial thoughts are that maybe it’s not the worst thing for humanity that they’re no longer around to make this existence worse. I have no excuse or explanation except that is just how I feel and I’m not happy that is the situation.

I hate to go to the too often used Hitler analogy, but this planet isn’t a better place due to some of these evil, vile, and exceedingly stupid people. That may be a little harsh in some cases but it is what it is.

Do you feel the same when someone from AQ or ISIS is hurt?

Our electorate is hopeless right now, way too many are braindead like archy and NDJ. But part of it is the information they are getting fed. Today Fox was doing their best to equate the George Floyd protests with this as well. Their audience will eat it up. How can people be that f#&%ing stupid?
