So when Trump fires all non-partisan career professionals in government, replaces them with radical loyalists within every nook and cranny of the US government, and adds radical judges everywhere.

And every one of you that voted for him finally wake up from your f#&%ed up fantasy just like the folks that woke up after 4 years of the last s#!t show, only to realize it’s much much worse, and much more permanent, this time.

When the cancer you caused has infected every bit of the American system and it can’t be unwound for a lifetime.

What then?

Do you beg this country for forgiveness for choosing fascism because you were conned into believing your eggs are too expensive because of Joe Biden?

You just put Steve Bannon in charge of American policy.

You just put Michael Flynn in charge of our military.

You just put Alex Jones in charge of media and propaganda.

You just put Stephen Miller in charge of immigration policy.

You just put bats#!t crazy RFK Jr. in charge of health policy.

You just killed free public education and privatized schools, which you will have to pay for.

You just sealed the deal on a national abortion ban, because you’re demented if you think it’s not coming.

You just radicalized the Supreme Court for a generation.

You just made women less safe and less free.

You just made this country an oligarchy with the billionaires quite literally in charge now.

You just put in office the one person that believes a president is a king, with the f#&%ing Supreme Court ruling to prove it in his back pocket!

You just ushered in Fascism.

Because your cereal costs more.

Congratulations.

I am curious, do you have a list of priorities you would be happy using political capital on?

What are the top two things, in your opinion, that Republicans should try to accomplish this term?

D.C. has an extremely large black population supplemented by predominantly college educated people.

It's a bit like asking why Philadelphia votes for Democrats or a small town in central Kansas votes for Republicans. It has a lot more to do with demographics than some sort of deep, macro-reasoning I think you're alluding to here.
You are completely wrong on the makeup of government bureaucrats political makeup in DC and the surrounding areas.   It’s OVERWHELMINGLY Democrat.

Not sure what that has to do with non partisan government employees. But whatever mental gymnastics you have to jump through to make dismantling nonpartisan government entities and replacing them with partisan hacks a good thing go ahead.
Pro-tip.  They ain’t non partisan.  And non elected bureaucrats can certainly bog down an administration priorities.

Like i said, whatever you have to tell yourself. Just remember who made it happen when this power gets abused by someone you disagree with.

That's an overwhelming assumption.

The demographic makeup of DC is 43% white, making it a minority-majority city with double the black population (24%) compared to the nation as a whole (12%).

54% of DC has a college degree, concentrated withim the white population of the city. Nearly 36% of the residents have an advanced degree.

I don't know what you're getting at here, DC is heavily liberal because it's full of minorities and people with MBAs.

Also let's not forget anyone who isn't a Trump loyalist is automatically a democrat. TG and Knapp are great examples.

Anyone want to give their opinion on why Trump won Latino men for the first since who knows when for a Republican?

It ain’t because of racism and the answer is very obvious.  I’ll give you all a hint, it has to do with a situation along the Rio Grande

Nobody hates immigrants more than an immigrant that just got their legal status. Hyperbolic, but speaking to a human reality that's as common in Latinos and immigrants as it is in anyone else (you with student loans, for example). Most people believe in some version of, "Because I suffered/worked so hard/did it the right way, rather than help those behind me have an easier time I want to make sure it has to cost them just as much."

Ahem,  why does D.C. and the suburbs of( overwhelming vote Democrat?

Yeah guys, why are more diverse urban areas and folks with higher levels of education more progressive?

The number of people in P&R assumed and referenced as democrats that in fact, aren't, is always fairly telling.

21% of DC’s workforce is Federal Employees.  Washington DC voted 92% Democrat?   It’s not much of an assumption.  It’s just basic math.

Aside from TG it’s also telling when asked when the last time they voted for a non-Democrat.   They may cosplay as an Independent but voting habits suggest otherwise.

No it doesn't. You can think most of one party's policies are stupid, and still not agree with even half of the other party's, and then there is a lack of any other candidates. You can also think one party has been nominating the morally reprehensible, and would vote for an idiot just to keep them out, as long as the idiot wasn't morally reprehensible.

Yeah, it's this. I've voted for Republicans in local elections recently, but on the national stage, Republicans are so far away from my politics I have no other choice. It's not like I 100% adhere to Democrat policies, but the bad ones are tolerable and lordy! are they the only adults in the room.

Well, yeah. Government workers, especially in DC, hold college degrees.

Government employees without degrees likely vote for Trump at similar rates as non Government employees.

I think you're conflating government employees = Democrat with College Degree = Democrat.
