Escaped the top of 8. Tech had go ahead run in scoring position with 1 out, but we stranded him

 
Getting guys in scoring position, but can’t get the timely hit. Stranded another on 2nd in bottom of 8. Onto the 9th tied 3-3

 
Welp, luck ran out. Tech has plated 3 and still going in top of 9. Worthley came in with inherited runners and struggled. Olsen in now

 
Dropped this one 6-3. Had every chance to win if we get hits in final 4 innings with runners in scoring position.  Pitching in 9th was rough.

LOL. Horn and Olsen did their jobs. McConnaughey came in with the go-ahead runner at third, 2 outs in the 8th and got a groundout, then struck out the first batter in the 9th. The walk was unfortunate but he made a perfectly good pitch to the next batter who wound up getting a weak infield single, which may have rattled him into the wild pitch, who knows. He also struck that batter out shortly after throwing it to the backstop. Now Worthley struggled, yes. Perhaps in the future, Childress goes to somebody like Olsen instead and that inning ends with no runs across.

Both pitchers had trouble throwing strikes and threw several pitches per batter.

 
Well, ran out of pitching yesterday. Hopefully, the guys going today have a better day. I’m assuming the relief pitchers from Friday would be available today?

 
We were up 2-0 on only 1 hit and 2 Sooner errors.  OU scores 1 and still have them loaded in the bottom of 3. Clark exits with throwing approx 65 pitches in 2 2/3 innings. Timmerman into the game in tough spot

 
Timmerman comes in and gets the K. Huskers hold onto a 2-1 lead going to 4th. Offense needs to pick it up. Way too many strikeouts 

 
Ask, and they deliver. Huskers add 3 more with 4 hits in the 5th inning. Now lead 5-1. Christo into pitch (last inning 4th) and back to mound in bottom of 5
