Lol & none of them played much!
Blaise did, but he was injured too often in his time here. He was very vital in our two Wisconsin wins in 2022/23 season.

So, if I read this right @DGNU - Nebraska could use another big but it's not as pressing as guards. Is that correct?
Probably need at least one more big, as right now we only have Mast and Morgan.

What's the starting lineup look like right now?
Rollie
Brice
Juwan
Rienk
Andrew
6th Man Griffin
Or do you have a smaller lineup with Gary as the 4 and have Griffin as the 2/3 along with Brice? Guess it depends on if Hoiberg can pull Kyle and/or the Charlotte big man. Gets one or both? We're probably set with the 3 man rotation with Brice, Juwan, and Griffin at the 2/3 spots and then a 4 man rotation with Rienk, Kyle, Andrew, and Charlotte Big Man at the 4/5. Rollie and Uhlis rotating at the 1.

2 outs, 2 straight hits to the top of the wall in left field off of pinch hitters, guys on 2nd and 3rd to tie it up, bring in another PH and three straight strikes, chasing the last one into the dirt after 2 right down he middle to end the game. 6-4

JFC, can't get the out and now we're down 3

good guys won 16-1

Was wrong, but the way the inning was going a sac fly would not have surprised me.

Turned it off when Rutgers tied up with a guy on 3rd with one out. Presuming the next pitch was a sac fly to end the game.

I haven't seen anything, but is there a reason for highlights being misspelt in these recaps? Every video has it spelt hilites.

Skers were lucky it was this close tonight. They made 3 pretty insane defensive plays that saved 2 or 3 runs.
Threw out two runners at the plate.

I lied, I'm not listening to it, but NU down 5-3 bottom 7th with 1 out.
Make it 5-3 into the 8th

Make it 3-0, bottom 4th with some poor pitching and poor defense. Creighton has guys on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out.
And Creighton bats they guys in, 5-0, still with 1 out in the bottom 4th.
Prob my last update, trying to stop doing things that frustrate me.

Game update, Creighton up 2-0 in the Bottom 3rd. Nebraska leaving a number of guys on base through the first three innings.

Why can’t this be on PBS in Nebraska like some volleyball games?

Disappointing at the overall lack of TV coverage for baseball games, especially with how well NET covers Nebraska games. It would be nice if they can work out a deal to get all home games on NET when they aren't on the full network.

They put a video up of him practicing and he only missed one shot around the horn.

Not sure Hoiberg will be interested. He's a 6' 9" forward who has not taken a 3 in two seasons at SDSU.
With him and Fidler, probably also gotta watch them going to Creighton. Can't think of the last high profile Bellevue West player that chose Nebraska over Creighton going back to Dotzler the elder.
Would definitely want both.

Agree. It's likely why Nebraska was never rated as high as teams with similar W/L records.
We don't lose the games at Rutgers, Minnesota, and to a lesser extent Maryland (game was not close, but Maryland was not a good team), and we're probably on the 6 or 7 line, not facing A&M (though I wouldn't be surprised if A&M was overseeded for the storyline).

Need to play their 3rd quarter today over the entire game on Sunday to get past Oregon State.

Gave A&M an open 3 for the win, and they air balled it.

Shelley's worst game ever, still good chance to escape after getting a stop and timeout.

He was learning and struggled the first year and a half. The rest of the time, he was clearly our best offensive lineman and had very few snap issues. People seem to remember his Freshman year more clearly than his senior year.
Can't remember which game it was, but I do remember being very impressed by Cam snapping the ball and then essentially playing tackle on passing plays.

Eh ... everyone always likes to blame the refs.
We gave up 58 points. We played exactly zero defense.
I think the imbalance in how the game was called on both ends (not saying we didn't foul, but 9-3 foul differential with 12 minutes to go) affected how the defense played as they couldn't breath on Shannon driving without a foul being called. Then when one of our guys would drive and get similar contact, nothing.
But, we also have to make shots and get the ball in the basket.

This has to be related to the shenanigans on the women's basketball team, right?
Think other heads would roll before it reached Alberts in this situation (Williams first and foremost)

If it's a package deal with Fidler, I don't think we have what Fidler's looking for as the Griffith signing seems to have taken his place. But maybe they look at it with Fidler being similar to Williams, and Griffith with Gary.
