• Extending the coaches box from twenty-eight feet to thirty-eight which will allow for better communication when they are on the other side of the court.

• Resetting the shot clock to twenty seconds when the ball is being in-bounded in the front-court after a foul or defensive violation occurs unless there are more than twenty seconds on the clock before the penalty in which case the clock will remain the same.

• Instant replay will be allowed during the final two minutes of regular time as well as overtime to determine whether a secondary defender is in or out of the charge circle.

• Throw-ins would be taken from twenty-eight feet from the corner or three feet outside of the lane on the baseline, depending on where the ball goes out. Deflections will remain the same, where the ball goes out is where the ball will be thrown in.

• For a screen to be legal the screener's legs, have to be inside of his shoulders.

• A foul will now be called on defensive players if it is determined that his straddling of the offensive player’s leg prohibited him from making a natural move which will now include pivoting.

• 0.3 seconds will be taken off the clock anytime the ball is touched.

• Off-site reviews will be allowed in the final minutes of the game to assist game officials if it is determined they are needed.
