Wow, that was enlightening. I thought that was Frank on the sideline at the Oklahoma-Texas game. Much class from the Boomer Sooner, however; true Husker fans which there are many of are never going to give up on our team and would never abandoned them eithier. I also don't see many tickets becoming available anytime soon. Is that still one record we still hold? Most consecutive sell-outs?

Wow. Not sure how to respond to that one. You are acting like the game last week was some kind of spear in the heart of this football team. You are caught up in the politics and not in the football. You would rather sit there and fester on things that, really, don't matter on the field. I am going to add one adjective to my definition of the standard Husker fan. Spoiled. This loss wasn't a spear in the heart of the football team? I'm open minded Dave please tell me what you see hapening to this team and the program? Is it going to get better? What do politics have to do with it? To me it's all about the game, played on the field. I could give a damn less about what's played out off the field. With all due respect Dave we didn't loose by 70 points in January, or the month before, or the year before, or the year before that!!!!!!!

My questions for Steve Pederson. Why are we suppose to act like this is to be expected while you're in the middle of rebuilding the team back to a National Championship level? What the hell is phenominal about a 70-10 loss? Why was Frank not fired after one of the worst seasons ever and then left to believe he had time to "rebuild the team" and save his job? Why did Frank have to fire long time coaches who bled red? Why was Frank fired after he brought in one of his best recruits ever, Bo Pelini which together went 10-3 ? Why after Bo leading us to a great bowl game win, pumping up the defense like Charlie McBride in the good ol' days, fans and players loving him was he not given the chance to be the head coach? To me "rebuilding" is getting better not getting worse. If we were something like 7-7 two years ago, 10-3 last year, just where would we be this year with Frank and Bo? Maybe National Championship level that were "rebuilding" towards now going backwords to go forwords? Since this is suppose to be expected in the "rebuilding" process let's just start over, because that's what were doing. Let's get rid of all the Championship tropheys, we've lost most of our records that we've held for years so let's just say we never had any and start from scratch like Steve say's we need to do because everything we've accomplished doesn't mean a damn thing to him anyway. Steve with a program that needs to be scrapped because it doesn't work and the 'West Coast Offense" is the answer to obtaining everything just how the hell did we win those championships anyway?

Okay all, Maybe it's the couple of cocktails I've had but we just lost by a cazillion points and I can't believe it. What happened? What's happening to the Huskers? The worst lost we ever had and I feel like crap about it. Would of, could of, should of, all these what ifs!! Will I ever be happy? I've been living in colorado for 6 months but was born and raised in lincoln, nebraska. My grandmother worked at the University and my grandfather bled red. While he was in the Veterans hospital he would get out on Saturdays to go to the game. He would have to lean on peoples shoulders to get to the next step, as our seats were at the very top of the stadium. This loss I know has Bob Devany, my grandfather and anyone else that grew up with the Huskers rolling around in their grave. I just had to post this to make me fill better. I wish I was in Lincoln to meet the team at the airport to show my support. Forget about the West coast Offense, we didn't need it before and we don't need it now!
