Also do not forget the superior lines that they also enjoyed as well. I think the numbers would look far worse if you gave our starting 5 to Crouch or Frazier.
Agreed, the coaching staff has asked a lot out of Taylor this year. The offense has been based entirely on Burkhead and Martinez, nobody else even has 30 carries/catches.

Lord's numbers, quite the running back... He didn't start until he was a Junior so his Junior/Senior numbers are here. For all of the talk about how bad Taylor's throwing motion is, he is much better at completing passes than past QBs. I don't think most of us remember how truly awful the QBs used to be at passing.

Check out Martinez's first two years compared to some other bum quarterbacks that used to play for Nebraska.

Directly (emphasis on the last sentence added) from the rule book:
Opportunity To Catch a Kick
Interference With Opportunity
ARTICLE 1. A player of the receiving team within the boundary lines attempting to catch a kick, and so located that he could have caught a free kick or a scrimmage kick that is beyond the neutral zone, must be given an unimpeded opportunity to catch the kick.
a. This protection terminates when the kick touches the ground, when any player of Team B muffs or touches a scrimmage kick beyond the neutral zone, or when any player of Team B muffs or touches a free kick in the field of play or in the end zone.
b. If interference with a potential receiver is the result of a player being blocked by an opponent, it is not a foul.
c. It is an interference foul if the kicking team contacts the potential receiver before, or simultaneous to, his first touching the ball. When in question, it is an interference foul.

Being in the Chicagoland area I am tracking Westercamp pretty closely. Through 4 games he's at 20 catches for 369 yards and 5 td's, also has a rushing TD. Based on all of the newspaper articles I have seen teams have been trying to bracket him with 2 and sometimes 3 defenders and he's still putting up some great numbers.

I absolutely loved how the offense ran the same play the entire quarter and Washington could not stop it. Beautiful!

I would like to see the rebirth of the shocker sign
As an Arizona State alum I think it is interesting that USC is throwing the shocker. Especially when this is ASU's sign. No these ladies are requesting the shocker...or are they?

We smoked it all...

I was at that Mizzou game. The fans were incredible the whole game.
First Husker game I ever attended, thanks for the compliment!

I have no problem with him doing it. But I think all are thinking he may just be here tomorrow, and again the chances are 9 million to one. Place your bets.
Just got on Bodog to try to find those odds, figured 10 bucks on him being would give me a pretty good return on my investment. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything...

I wouldn't take this website very serious. They have Alfonzo Dennard as the 5th best player on the team this year behind Baker (I am not trying to knock him but having him at #3 is pretty ridiculous) and T-Magic.
-
Would be interesting to see a line of Crick, Baker and T-Mo get at it with Meridith playing the 'Spinner' role again.

I was able to grab two in the cheap seats after 30 of being told nothing was available. Thinking about throwing then on stubhub if I can get 3 times the face like you are saying. I don't think I could live with myself if they made it and I sold though.

Can you tell me what you mean by 'peaked'? Because I don't really know what that even means.
Which Williams are you talking about for the 3 deep at DT? Josh Williams is an end and Kevin Williams is an incoming frosh.
Randle has pretty much tapped what? He's going to be a redshirt soph next year, there aren't many redshirt freshman that are every down players. Ankrah is also going to be a redshirt soph to say he won't get any better at reads and technique and that he has 'peaked' is nonsense. To say any player has 'peaked' as a freshman or sophomore is pretty silly.

In fact is scares me that we can't get more separation on the depth chart. We don't have 9 line men who are legitimately capable of playing at this level. We have 2 linemen that are cable of playing at a high level. 3 that have the potential but haven't show it yet and 4 or 5 that are pretty close in ability to the 3 but in all honesty have probably already peaked.
Can you expand on this, I don't completely agree with what you are saying and don't understand why this would scare you. Crick and Steinkuler provide the seperation on the depth chart, we are returning the two starters from last year that started every game.
I am guessing you are calling out Thad Randle, T-Mo and Chase Rome as your 3 with potential but no results?
Your "4 to 5" others would include the rest of the guys at DT, Jay Guy, Jeff Uher, Justin Jackson, Josh Molek, Todd Peat & Kevin Williams? That list includes 2 redshirt freshman and 2 true freshman, how can you say these guys have already peaked?

Gets old until he is a Junior....K-State's QB is a Junior.
