What a game. OT, advantage - LSU. Bama's kicking game has been shoddy tonight.

This and a crazy penalty.

Ohio St. has a pretty nice stadium. They have held the conference tournament there the past 3 seasons.

I would like to see it moved to a neutral site though. TD in Omaha would get the biggest crowds, but Victory Field in Indy would be the most central location.

OT.

They could absolutely did, but there were other games where they completely bailed out Martinez on poor throws. Hell, the only dropped passes we talked about last week were the ones that the defense didn't intercept.

Mistakes still get made I as well as you want them corrected, but I don't think sweeping generalizations about the unit after a poor performance is 100% fair.

There is one damn fine punt.

They don't have a Big Ten VB tournament. I wish they did - that would be an incredible weekend. I remember the old Big 8 tournaments in the Civic in Omaha. FUN times.

Yes, Oklahoma was much more inspiring while being face-raped by Texas Tech. Put down the pipe and watch a game or two.

The same Tech team that got destroyed by Iowa St. the next week and now UT ran for over 400 yards against. The best team in that conference gives up something like 30 points a game.

I'll stick with the B1G.

For real though these defenses are on a completely different level.

It is starting to look a little apparent that he under recruited the secondary the past few years. Which is strange to me considering he was recruiting for the Big 12 most of those years. This is really the only group that I am disappointed with the talent at the position.

The D-Line trouble is injuries not recruiting.

The O-Line save today has gotten rave reviews, they are also on the young end. The Huskers haven't moved teams like they have this season in a long time(they played like crap today though)

The WR/RB Pelini recruits are arguably the best young talent in the conference.

QB's Pelini just got a commit from the #12 dual threat in the country and is in fantastic standing for the #6 one.

All in all it has been a pretty good go of it.

David is a prototypical LSU LB in terms of size I think. He would be pretty undersized compared to those monsters that Alabama starts though.

Er, you guys obviously didn't watch the UW game b/c it was on at the same time as the NU game but ours wasn't that pretty either. Special teams played like crap...and the defense was less than impressive the first half.

Tough living to win by 35.

It sucks to say, but other than David and Dennard none of the other "blackshirts" would even sniff the two deep on 'Bama or LSU.

"If he doesn't know where the ball is going neither does the defense" I thought the guy talking was pretty lame until that line.

Love watching Trent Richardson play. He has impeccable balance and runs like a madman. It takes multiple tacklers to bring him down.

Great balance right there. Hell of a football player.

Nebraska's Kenny Bell is faster. I am assuming Alabama's has better hands(it isn't terribly had to do that though.)

Non issue. I think it is much less tasteless for Reese Davis to start cracking up about it on national TV than a few special team guys from NW joking about it.

I am jacked for this game. It will be nice to see some real football this Saturday.
