A Ruggiero and Dillon Gabriel combo would be a complete wet dream for Husker fans.

I am wondering if we are getting into our lower choices.....I still don't buy the whole "might be coaching in (insert game) excuse".  As others have said, maybe perspective coaches (at solid places/positions) are leery of coming to NU.

 

 

To get Ruggerio, Grimes or Ludwig to take the risk and come here in this situation and that’s not a splash hire then I don’t know what one is.

All would be fantastic and out of this world hires in the current situation we are in.

Ruggerio would be a phenomenal get.

Best thing that could happen now is:

Brent Davis as OL/running game coordinator.

Warren Ruggiero as OC/QB coach.

Busch or Brumsfield as ST.

Beckton to add RBs with help from Ron Brown.

The thing that worries me the most about Ron Brown being full time RB coach is recruiting.

Frost removed him from a player development type role because he didn’t relate to the players very well. That’s very alarming.

Keep him on as his current role would be fine imo.

We keep dropping on the OC totem pole the longer we wait.

Yep and it showed we have NOBODY that’s ready on Friday.

The defense will be just as big of a question mark as the offense next season imo.

I was at the game Friday . Watching our NT get absolutely blown off the line of scrimmage the second half was sickening. 

Frost continues to be just comically awful at in-game management.

No offensive coordinator is gonna fix that. He just doesn’t have it.

That they reallllly must not of wanted to red shirt Smothers.

Just another example of in game coaching being unacceptable.

But yeah the O-line is the only holding us back. SMH
