would have been nice to get, but can't say that I blame him. The system is better for an o-lineman, the school is way better, california is nice. All that outweighed Nebraska and his family connections. Born and raised in NE, and an alum, if I had his choice I might do the same thing.

Personally, I wouldn't want to play for a guy that berates QB's openly and often. He has a young guy playing and shows no patience. I can't see how recruits aren't watching how this guy treats one specific position. On the other side, Bo gets heated, but not consistently at one player/position. He also is a player's coach, those guys rave about respect for "Coach Bo". I know where I would want to go play, especially as a running QB.

He's essentially the offensive version of Bo, innovative mind on one side of the ball that has yet to take it to the nc level, and who yells a lot when they get mad. I know the media kills him but they do that to Bo just as much. I lived with Petrino's nephew in college so everything was spun the opposite direction from what the media says about him, but I think he's a pretty decent guy actually. Sorry to thread jack, I just always wondered why he got the rep he has. because he bailed on his team midway through a season. Literally resigned and left town during game week. He's a selfish quitter and lacks integrity based on that act alone.

Our defense was bad no doubt. But it should have been 24-17 Washington at the half instead of 20-17 Nebraska. 10 point swing and huge change in momentum not to mention amazing field position that they never should of had because we took your botched punt back to the house. Game would've gone down to the wire without that bad calls and the 2 other phantom calls in the 2nd half on us. hey rules and officiating savant! A muffed punt can't be advanced. IT would have been dead ball right where it was recovered. thanks for elaborating on what ifs when you know less about the rules of football than the officials you are complaining about.
