Someone intercept my password, why I don't know. Whats the "benefit" anyway? No personal info i.e. credit/debit card numbers, SSN, etc. I don't get it. Oh well.
Fairly newbie member and MY last post was approx. November 5th just after huskerpedia.com was shutdown. Tonite during lurching time, I was somewhat surprised, "fake" NUandOU name and listed +70 posts.......MY total posts was only 20 to 30ish number, max. I confess blame on me because my old password was very simple word; my lowercase first name word. Myself, no big deal but I already changed my password from simple to lowercase/uppercase/long word.
just sayin' .....
Now I have an excuse for all of those posts that I regret making...

Okay...I will assume you are. So here goes: When I post something that I regret, I will claim that someone stole my password and posted something stupid using the stolen password. Yeah, that is the ticket...that will be my excuse.
I assume this thread is fake and make believe post. If so, fine. I finally understand it, throw to the huskerboard wolves. Never regret because I'm innocent.

The automotive sponsor doesn't want its brand associated with a telecast featuring Penn State, which fired coach Joe Paterno Wednesday after former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky was indicted on criminal charges of allegedly sexually abusing young boys.
Said they were also pulling out of next week's game between PSU and OSU.
It reminds me of Tiger Woods scandal, well kinda. I think several sponsors fled.

In a show of support to Penn State players and the entire State College community, I think it would be cool if we replaced the red N on our helmets with a blue N this week. There is a lot of pain that there team and community is going through.

Look, schools like LSU and Bama don't have to go more then 200 miles from their campus to get all the kids they want (for the most part).
Mississippi has more players in the NFL per capita then any state (I think that is still true)
Then you have ties, think about it, if you grow up in Bama or Texas or Florida, you usually like that team.
and maybe racial makeup?

We made the bottom 10 for several reasons. First, we were at home and good/great teams play great at home. Second, we were playing a relatively poor team in the conference. Third, we controlled our own destiny in terms of making the Big 10 Championship game for the potential of playing in a BCS Bowl. We responded by simply barely even showing up for the game. This is why we were in the bottom 10 this week. I don't follow it, but did OU make it the week they got beat by TT?

I am absolutely terrified that Penn State is going to come out on fire, and Bo won't have our guys ready again this week. I know it's insanely pessimistic, but this is just the type of thing a fanbase and team can rally around. Everyone expects them to lose. They are in the ultimate "us against the world" situation. This is ignoring injuries to Rex and our thin D-Line of course, but for some reason this game scares the crap out of me.
Before the Northwestern game, I thought we could win out. Now I'm scared we will lose out. I'm usually an optimistic cat. Why the hell do I feel like this??! Help me out here!
I think split feelings. Some people including you (thequan) and me was the same feelings for above post. Yes, i'm worried. Remaining people said Penn State players will be a sleepwalking mode with no motivations, even possibly forfeit.
NU is in a no win situation. If they win, it is because of the scandal. If they lose, it's because Bo didnt have them prepared.unfortunately, agreed

For the past 5 years, I distrust media jokers......OVERBLOWN big time mostly thanks to internet, of course, IMO. Yes, I confess I'm truely sorry for JoePa. I'm almost sure Joe was nothing to do with Penn St scandal.

You know JoePa was a figurehead for the past two or three years. I didn't much care about Nebraska responds but I'm VERY curious about PSU fans attending at Beaver stadium. Almost sure ABC will now nationwide coverage instead of ESPN......... or probably both

Hmmm.....right now, I signed in from my family room computer desk.... BTW, powered up 24/7. Suspect: my son horsing around or god forbid, my wife or my daughters, I hope unlikely. I need to sign out religiously when leaving. Tonight, I will talk to my son. Usually, I use a different laptop computer provided by my employer, mostly Microsoft Office usages and occasionally surf Wikipedia, ESPN, Wunderground weather and Yahoo news but I very seldom use email except business aspect (old fogie here). Oh, for some reason, I tried to sign in huskerboard.com web via my work computer but unfortunately blocked ....the message said "business violation" or something like that. However just the opposite, HuskerMAX, Husker.com, Huskerpedia, Big Red Fan, etc. web sites was okay, no blocked at all. Weird. Back to this topic.......
I wish I was starting all over and erase all posts....you know, fresh start because bad reputation now. BTW, I was a long-time Huskerpedia subscriber, 11 years (oh god, I'm old!), with NO nasty and vulgar posts, never.
In summary, I like huskerboard format and many BBS members. Before Nov 1st (pedia funeral), I never heard of huskerboard.
