  1. I am stunned by Martinez's transformation over the last 3 games. I'm still a skeptic, but just when we were begging him to become a game-manager, he became one................

Devil's advocate. Several plays still forced tight coverages, luckily no picks so far. But overall, I agree for kchusker quote.

  2. Disagree. How many times have you seen a player redshirt after their freshman year, unless injured.

Much like Enunwa & Arod last year, this was a waste. Also, nice to see that Bondi's redshirt was burned for one or two kickoffs (sarcasm).

I'm really beginning to question Bo's handling of his roster.

Just use fake injury. Medical hardship instead of Bondi's redshirt

  3. Success on the option starts up front. That is where we were severly lacking in the NW game. TO loved the short-side option because we could outnumber people on that side, but we simply don't have the OL talent to pull that off.

You are correct about it being more successful from the shotgun or pistol. Martinez needs that extra space to see things develope. Not so easy under center when you immediately have someone in your face.

I closed my eyes every time while tossing from Taylor to running back option. Luckily Rex "good hands" Burkhead to the rescue. Need a quicker decisions (T-Mart). But you're right.......

Success on the option starts up front

    "G-play" failed against NW

  4. My bet Bo & Company (especially Bo) even most players NEVER read message boards including Huskerboard, HuskerMAX, Huskerpedia, Huskerwhatever, etc

I doubt the coaches read these boards much, but the players do.

Are you sure? Perhaps team rules? Unlikely but ........

  5. Just another thing in a long line of bewildering things of this Pelini regime...

I was wondering ....... Where's Todd Peat, David Santos, Zack Sterup, Ryne Reeves, etc. anyway? All touted players. Or could be all red-shirt guys.......save next year.

BTW, I know Charles Jackson was a academic problem but I'm still worried about de-commit thing.

  6. Seriously, north stadium expansion project was totally screwed up. Who is in charge for designer anyway? Use double decker instead of single because much closer to the action. I know, way too late. Right now, I assumed North stadium offered a free oxygen tank and powerful binoculars (recommend). And South stadium future project?..... just use North stadium clone......again double decker.

Second idea (me). Remove all four video screens because this screens was totally hidden frm traditional pillars. I like the pillars. Remedy: Substitute new video screen on the south stadium; exactly the same dimension as North stadium screen.

Third idea. Is it too late to redesign east stadium? I noticed east expansion plan......very similar to Gaylord Stadium (OU), in particular, 3rd deck ON TOP of luxury boxes. Way way to high ! Trust me. Again, need oxygen tanks and powerful binoculars! Best solution: just simply lowered field level about 10 to 15 feet thus added thousands of seats on the lower level. You ever seen "Big House"? Most submerged with respect to ground level.

Fourth idea. Install natural grass including pipe heating and tricked out drainage. I think is the same design as Haymarket field.

    I know, I'm crazy :backtotopic

  7. I am seriously questioning the D. The pelini's have never been able to shut down a semi-mobile qb, for example: Tyrod Taylor, Fresno states QB, and Russell Wilson to name a few.

Look how Texas beat us last year, aside from our miscues they beat us by making their qb roll out to get 5-8 yards a play. They let these teams get in manageable 2nd and 3rd downs...

    What do you guys think?

Mobile QB's = bad news. Recent memories, tOSU vs. NU.........Braxton and Bauserman, night and day.

BTW, Griffith III ever faced Bo's D a couple of years ago? If I remember right, Griffith was injured.

  8. Chances of beating PSU = 0.45

Chances of beating Michigan = 0.45

Chances of beating Iowa = 0.55

Chances of Iowa beat MSU = 0.5

    0.45 * 0.45 * 0.55 * 0.5 = 0.0557 (5.57%) ≠ 50%

Mr. Stat guy, you forgot a couple of key variables

Spartans faces Northwestern @ Chicago venue and vs. Indiana...... is given (but never know)

Wolverine faces tOSU and Illini @ Champagne

  9. just wait until November 13. If Huskers will win against PSU, then "Bo Should go" threads will completely vanished.

However if Huskers will lose, then I guaranteed BBS servers suffered an overload status due to a millions of "Bo Should go" threads
