i am sure we will lose some players over this now.
lots of guys will transfer, going to be ugly.
Chin kept us close last season, now he hits the road with Frosty.
Trev on thin ice now, chickens headed for home.
Kept us close with a half dozen 6th year seniors who masked his marshmallow shell 10 foot off prevent D ....

I think the onside kick and lack of resolve by the team ended it. Trev is a calculated and conservative person. Scott is not the kind of coach Trev wants, and that game only cemented it.
The purpose of the year extension was because it's better for ALL if Scott succeeds; since Trev is part of ALL, I think that extra leeway lets him keep his job with 7 wins....

Chin is SO afraid of being beaten over the top, that he allows the dink game to not only flourish, but eat huge chunks of clock. It's seemingly true that our opponents best chances occur on 3rd and 8+ than they do at 3rd and 4-or less. And it's been that way since he arrived, so don't expect any miraculous change in philosophy.

Yeah understandable bc of location. We don't have Notre Dame yet or does it look like they are going to join. Imho they are dancing around actually joining.

Lansing Michigan to IMG Academy is 1273 miles. Lincoln is 1493 miles to IMG.
To quote Michael Keaton "220, 221..... Whatever it takes".

I think both teams didn't worry about getting the game in, because they know they play each other in the 1st round of the tournament.
Minny series was costly, but so was the entire season.
Plus, I'm guessing nobody wanted the Huskers to make it because of the perceived hometown advantage.... regardless of our schizophrenic play....

Third place was Vince Genatone in 10.63. The North Platte LB who wanted a Husker FB offer.
And a slew of Husker fans who wanted him to get one as well..

Yeah, this one is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Maybe send out Christo and let him try and get comfortable against D1 competition. We will need him next year.
Definitely need Christo with some meaningful innings...

Why on gods green earth are we seeded worse than Michigan, OSU and Illinois. Send us (as the more deserving team) to mizzou.
Probably the same seeding geniuses who sent the baseball team to Arkansas last year...

Lack of simple fundamentals and execution seems so egregiously anti- Boltish...

Without commenting on the past, the reality is that Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota is our Natural Pod, and I have no problem with that...

Drew told Rivals he committed because the coaches told him he would be a 4-3 DT.
Fair to say an even swap for an oft- injured, Casey Rogers?

Can someone explain to me why Michigan is ranked higher in the coaches poll?
Nebraska: 33-9 (13-0 B1G), 2-0 against Michigan on the Road, 18-0 in their last 18
Michigan: 26-13 (6-6 B1G), 0-2 against Nebraska at Home, 11-7 in their last 18
Let's not overthink this...
The NAME is the perception...

What's the over/under on this one coming back to bite us in the a$$? 95%?
At least stayed away from the BIG!
Will be interesting to follow since Whip made it clear his preference was for the QB from Massachusetts.
Hopefully, it could end up a win-win for everybody....

At times it seems this staff has focused too much on getting guys with tremendous size or length and not enough on just getting hood football players. Very few have worked out.

The mindset of taking a called 3rd strike to end the game is iconically familiar for this year's team.....

Kind of wonder if this is more of a Hoiberg decision. If we get someone from the portal, than one or both is gone.
Could we not also consider the possibility of the new assistant coach bringing along a player...??.
Who should our next HC be?
