Supposedly a defensive in-your-face type of pressuring defensive advocate. We can only hope.
(I remember when we hired Doc the first time, his presser told us his defensive style would be akin to watching a tennis match because of the constant back and forth issues it would necessitate for the watcher. Turned out..........Ahh, not so much in reality.

Would anyone even care if frost is finally fired??
If Frost is fired, that would mean this season was another failure....so yeah, I guess I would care.

I really want Walker back badly. I think him teaming up with Keita and Breidenbach will give us the strength and depth under the hoop that we need.
Keeping Keita is crucial...

He showed flashes as a freshman, but was pretty bad anytime he came in this past season. He wasn't developing and he was a turnover machine.
Hard to fix "hands"......

Weakest domino ever. Doc is probably just retiring. Again, no real impact other than a slow news day in Lincoln.
It may be the weakest domino ever (and widely predicted), but it's still a domino since there are finite places on a coaching staff and his last reported salary before moving to this special assistance title was $380,000.

Yes, but I can’t remember exactly what his name was.
Probably Mike Gessel from South Sioux City wasn't it?

I mean ... I think we better do a little more than barely squeaking out games against low-level teams before we talk about too much groove.
The difference between being in a groove and being in a rut is largely mental...

That shouldn't be a problem. I think conferences technically give the medical redshirts & NU will do everything it can to help.
Good luck to him.

Huskers have a better record than Michigan, beat them head-to-head twice and get an eight seed looking ahead the next game to a number one. Michigan with two losses to us, and a worse overall record, gets a three seed in the bottom half....hmm.... Not much respect for the Huskers nationally either....

Surprising lack of grit for a Bolt team. Shakey defense, tentative offense (especially the two strike approach late in games with an inordinate amount of watching rather than attacking); just hard to watch right now....

I'm hesitantly in the minority here, but I think it's going to be tough for us to win this one. Northwestern shoots with a lot of confidence against us (and rightly so) and the matchups don't favor us either. Hope to be wrong, but I think today might be the swan song for this edition of the Huskers....
-
Keeping the Ireland location also favors us.
If I recall correctly, the Huskers go in early, get the sightseeing out of the way and settled in well acclimated to prepare for the game. Northwestern goes in virtually a day or two before the game and does their educational and scenic bits after the game. The travel and time change applications would be a huge benefit to us....

Clark is terrific.....there is no doubt about her passion and skill. But for me, the whining and complaining detract from her overall impact. She's plenty special with out it. And yes, she does get a ton of favorable calls from the refs.....

Blown 14 point lead. The refs are killing us, too.
Totally agree, but we also need to finish on some bunnies at The rim....

And accomplished in spite of some.....ah...... questionable officiating....

No, I think your memory is just fine. I was just ruminating on remembering how his introductory presser (I was listening on the radio) gushed about how they would be almost frantic (my wording) on defensive pressures. Alas, we eventually morphed into bottom feeders statistically........especially guarding the 3.
