At what point to do we consider parting ways with Bo? I am one of the bigger Bo supporters you will find, but I feel like we are stuck in first gear. I know the "but TO didnt win a NC until X #years" crowd will voice their opinion, but I think if we have another 4 loss season, Nebraska does need to consider their options.

 

This isn't 1980 anymore -- take a look at the number of years each head coach has been at their school, for the past few NC title winners. I do not see a better product on the field now, then I did in 2008, and I do think that is a problem.

I heard there is some MAC coach that is beating the big boys. He is a little old, but maybe he is interested in coaching in the BIG 10.

the calls on offense were just as bad. Beck went away from Heard and the I formation when UCLA couldn't stop it. I was begging for Cross. Their defense was starting to get tired, and wanted to see tacklers drug for 3 or 4 yards every play.

NU could have had Stoops. Would the UCLA game have been different?

The power running from the I formation (especially with Heard) was working. Beck goes back to the shotgun with no play action? I was waiting for Cross to rotate with Heard, and then I could enjoy a pull away victory.

The only thing NU has in its favor this year is a very weak BIG 10.

If you can't block and you can't tackle, you cannot win. Too much emphasis spent on technique and scheme. Block hard, tackle hard and play like you give a ch!t.

Especially if you put your slowest players on the field.

All I gotta say is that noboby on this board had better ever dog me again when I make my REALISTIC (or as many on this board say -- "negative") comments. This program has shown NO signs of improvement or progress. Same piss-poor recruiting, same piss-poor play. Continuing to settle for mediocrity, because the fans keep accepting it. It's a disgrace.

Unless NU makes the field goal, gets on on-side kick and wins, you will never be questioned or doubted again. If NU wins, you will be ridiculed until the end of time.
