  1. To everyone poking fun at this topic...you'd all be standing there, jaw dropped, hands on your head if you saw him get hurt on a punt return! Then you'd all be crying about how it's dumb to have him back there and how these coaches need to get there heads out of their..... Don't be hypocrites and act like if we lost Rex on a meaningless punt return/fair catch, that our team would be fine and you wouldn't be upset. If something like that did happen, every husker message board would be going berserk!! He's way too valuable at RB and we need all the carries out of him we can get. I'm not saying to coddle him and run him once every drive....but the point is not to give that 1 extra chance for the opposing team to take a cheap shot on a defenseless player. If you think this happens once every 10 seasons, you're naive...
  2. Did you expect anything less?? Not sure Vandy is gonna steal him, or a VERY down Vols program. It's been us and the 'c$%ks all along, with a hint of Michigan State. When it comes down to it, I think the Blackshirt tradition will win him over. GRB!!!
  3. If Abdullah can't hang onto it, why not give Turner a chance? It's not like we're using him for anything else right now....I think it's all in Ameer's head now, so hopefully he gets it turned around soon. The field position he has given us (especially against tOSU) has been a key factor in our success. I'd say rest Rex at all costs, because all it takes (like the vid above) is one bonehead play, or dirty targeted play, and his game/season is done. If a coach in need of a big win against us saw Rex back there...he might just get a caveman like Eric Martin to run though the signal and get flagged/ejected. I could see Bielema calling a "hitman" in....
  4. Size and Speed...this guy is a Brick $h!..ouse!! He's like an H2 combined with a Mustang...well maybe and H3 (only 6'0"..)
  5. This. Cocky has been able to ride Clowney's wave of recruiting momentum. I'll even say that many of their fans aren't really considering NU a threat for Bullard because of Clowney. Don't get me wrong...Clowney is a beast, but 1 guy doesn't make a defense! There's WAAAAY more to factor in than the guy you will be trying to play opposite of. Things to factor in: Tradition, Pro Potential, Coaching, Location, Campus and sometimes the most overlooked thing Academics. If Bullard wants to be the second best DE on his team, whatever... Back to Diggs...thank God for Michael Rose...hopefully he can get his "Brother" to pick NU! GBR!
  6. Hmmm....Nebraska as a blackshirt or Kansas to get basketball tickets....seems simple to me! Welcome aboard Mr. Gray. I mean, can you blame the kid??
  7. 6'0", 253 and he runs like that?! Sign him up! Without Burkhead in 2 years, who do we have to pound it into the endzone on the goal line? Marrow only has 1 year of eligibility right? If so, than this guys fills the gap once he's gone. Timing seems perfect to me.... GBR!
  8. Ever since USC got Clowney, they have been able to attract higher profile defensive recruits. Jordan seemed like he was a 'Sker, but all of this Gamecock talk, I'm feeling a bit uneasy!! GBR!
  9. Kinda reminds me of a Burkhead-type running back. Not the fastest, not the strongest, but doesn't ever seem to go down on the first hit and has that fight for a few extra yards on every run. Looks to have good vision...I'm sold.
