  1. DTs don't usually put up a lot of stats anyway and we've been rotating all the defensive lineman so much that it's not surprising that they don't have a lot of stats. But it seems to me that they've done their job pretty well. Collins gets double-teamed almost every play. I thought VV might get a little more push on the plays where he's single-blocked but BYU was basically having their center look at both DTs and help out whichever side looked worse for them. I think they're doing about all they can - they need some pass rush help from the DEs or some blitzing LBs to do anything more.

WRs have also been very good. Thought Turner might get some more looks with DPE out but I'm not sure he even got to play more than a handful of snaps. Westy has been his usual great self and Moore has been a pleasant surprise.

DBs haven't been great overall but I don't think they've been terrible either. They've given up some big plays but even a couple of those plays they actually had pretty good coverage. I think they've been in some tough spots but that's been covered elsewhere (no pun intended). Gerry is a beast.

  2. They still love them some SEC but not quite as much.

Based on FPI’s pregame projections, which accounts for the strength of opponents faced and game site, the SEC underachieved more than any Power 5 conference in its non-conference games in Week 2 (1.2 fewer wins than expected).

As a result, the SEC fell more than any other conference in the Conference Power Rankings, and the gap between the SEC and the rest of the conferences is closing.
As a quick refresher, the Conference Power Rankings are a formula that equally weighs the rankings from the Associated Press poll and ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) to determine the best and worst conferences in the country. The AP Poll is designed to capture the strength at the top of the conference, while FPI is intended to capture conference depth.

    1 - SEC - 92.4

    2 - Big 12 - 86.2

    3 - Pac-12 - 81.0

    4 - Big Ten - 70.2

    5 - ACC - 65.8
