anyone got Martinez's comp %?
9/12 for 165
That's 75% for the math-challenged.
Now 9/13 - 69%

Wow eastern mich beating msu. Big ten is absolutely a joke this year.
Eastern Michigan is 116th in points allowed and MSU has scored 3 at the half...
-
Has Damon Benning been doing announcing for long? If so, I guess I never paid attention to him.
I believe this is his first game. - unless he did a few ppv's during the Big 12 days.
He had been coaching - until last year I believe.
-
According to ESPN, it's been 49-0 Huskers with 3:12 to go in the half for at least the last 10 minutes.
Have they discovered time travel???
-
Great start. Thought he was gone.

Wisconsin, this game is the very definition of "closer than the final score indicates".
No joke.... I stepped away from the tv for awhile, have they mentioned if Ball is playing next weekend?
What happened to Ball?????
Head injury. What they say on a possible concussion.
-
I saw the score it was 29-31 after a CMU touchdown and now its 32-31?
Went for two, didn't get it then got a FG.
-
Chips lead with 3 seconds left. 47 yd field goal.
-
C. Mich doesn't get the two but does recover the onside kick ... on the fourth attempt.
-
Good work by Ferentz. Spends 30 seconds trying to decide what to do of 4th down then tries to run the FG unit on with 8 seconds on the play clock before burning a TO. Working like a well-oiled machine.
In the Big 12, we would have called that being "Pinkled". I guess in the B1G, we can start with the "you've been Ferentzed"
+1

C. Mich for two and the tie ....
-
Maryland is a definite improvement from last year but it's really tough to see on TV.

I'll go over on RKIII and under on 23 pages.
According to Sports Nightly, their down 3 average 250 lbs with their 245 lb NT bringing the average down. I could probably run for 100 today (assuming the carries are sufficiently spread out for me to catch my breath).

To me, it's not that he can't come in and contribute right away, it's that we're not going to get enough out of him to make it worth while. He's #4 on the chart and, even though he's looked good, is unlikely to move up.
There was a similar thread before the first game and I predicted he'd only get 20-25 carries for the year. He's already at 18 but some of that is probably because of Rex's injury and I would think there would be fewer coming - both because Rex is back and we won't be going as deep in conference play.
The question is would you rather have him get 30-40 carries this year or 200 four years from now?

Keeps getting better:
UAB 12, @ tOSU 7 near half
C Mich 20, @ Iowa 14 near half
I'd say "Wow" but it shouldn't be that surprising at this point.

You can prosecute the guy for the ramifications of his speech. Speech is free, but if that speech has consequences, you should be punished for it. I can tell carlfense to go jump off a bridge, but if he does, I should bear some responsibility for his actions. Inciting people to violence should have consequences.
Wow, that is one slippery slope on which you're standing.
You are correct, which is why I back-pedaled from that statement a few hours after I posted it:
It wasn't one of my more lucid moments. I'll beg forgiveness, and ask everyone to forget my error.
Yeah, I responded before I got all the way down the thread.
Still, it was kind of a half-backpedal (maybe a side-shuffle? ). You said there wouldn't be any grounds for legal action but you didn't really say you changed your stance on being responsible. Sorry if I'm nit-picking.

So how many voters, exactly, will be disenfranchised by this?
more than than those committing fraud. how many voters, exactly, would be too many? how many voters, exactly, have committed fraud?
So you have no idea how many it would be but it would definitely be too many.
-
Can someone explain to me how acquiring a photo ID is more onerous that registering to vote?
-
I'll care about voter fraud as soon as there is evidence that it's a problem.
So at what level does something become a problem? We haven't executed many people for treason lately so maybe we shouldn't worry about enforcing those laws either.

Pretty interesting page. I didn't take anything resembling the time to check if their numbers are correct but it seemed pretty legit on a quick run-through (someone can correct me if I'm wrong).
They do say that the options they list aren't the only ones but it seems to be a pretty good cross-section.
