  1. sounds like a decent idea...... but I;ll needtoknow more about the specifics...
  2. The question is, will the fans stick around until then? I know I will....
  3. I most definitely agree on this subject. The finest sports board I've ever come across.
  4. Or just a They have made improvement in passing.....very, very little improvment. I would have hoped for much more by now. Like I said, it really hasnt meant much, unfortunately. Yes, I believe that is the epitome of "no sh*t, sherlock", right there. Well I'm sorry you were disapointed, former. I don't know how everyone could do that to you. Poor baby ==== Sorry, that just made me laugh ==== Now, down to business........ I think the Bill Walsh/49ers commment is a good one. The running game/having a good oline is invaluable. They say a QBs best friend is a good running game, and I believe that is the case, since it dramatically takes pressure off of the QB. We can look at USC for an example of this. One thing about the old days, though....... just like in NCAA, NFL football was a lot different then. the WCO was "new" then, or at least more so, and the structure of the game, the business aspect, everything has changed, at least from what little I know. So it is a valid point, though there are alot of factors. As for this year...... I don't really know how accurate any QB stats can be, because it seems like the O line really isn't allow ZT to show his skill. ANd who knows, maybe that is the same case as last year, but form the sound of it, the O line is hurting the entire offense. ========= I think there may be an improvement this year, but there are too many other things clouding it. A bowl game is an improvement. And I do agree on Former with this - it is not much of an improvement. But it is a step in the right direction. The Huskers need to take the ball and run with it, though.......
  5. I hope to see many good things from master B in the future....
  6. Who would have figured Joe Bruin would be at #2............ Nevertheless......... it's good to see the Husker Nation go out and represent Herbie with pride Keep it up
  7. Some people never cease to amaze me as to how ungrateful they can be. 6 wins is 6 wins You can't get 12 wins without getting 6 wins first...
  8. He came here to get into the NFL, like many others. He's showing his mettle, and will probably be well storried when his NU career is in the books. I hope he'll win us some bowl games down the road
  9. Or, if we are blowing CU out the water by the 3/4th qtr, I'd like to see Beck then. but yeah, I'd say it's Taylor's. Unless there is a great reason not to, I would be very surprised if he didn't start
  10. Maybe I'll go someday, maybe not. I would think it would best to travel in larger groups, huskers tour de forces and such....... but oh well. It is good to get the word out early about things like this...
  11. wait..... you already wore it? well, if you already have brought it out, then I guess it doesn't really matter. but if it were a virgin jersey, I wouldn't use it yet.
  12. There is no need to wear the jersey. While it is respectable that you would consider it, I believe it is unneccesary. Besides, should the huskers lose, you might feel even worse, especially worse for ruining something like that. Now is not the time for the Huskers to shine. Be patient.........
  13. I really don't know what to say about it. I mean, if you really feel that way - agree with the letter - then go ahead and do it. But I wonder, really, what the author really wants.
  14. what a record to break! freshman fieldgoal fantastic!
  15. BC needs to call our best practiced run play, considering we get a first down. Beck in the spot light.
  16. Eat up some clock, cool it down, let Beck take it easy....
  17. I GOT IT! PUT THE SPECIAL TEAMS LINE in as THE O LINE HUGE HOLES will open up!!!!!!!! Run the ball the rest of the way! Do it!
