My little brother says he is pretty good and he'll be a three year starter for a team that's always competitive. Our HS plays in the same league and usually it's us winning league (damn right I'm proud) but if not its BPrep. I will say this tho, he doesn't consistently play against top talent in the Narrows League and some of the teams in his film are downright awful.

He must really like the academics because Stanford is on the downfall now that Luck is gone and they'll be another year removed from Harbaugh.
-
We got UCLA on the schedule next two seasons, can't wait to bury them. Take it to Owa as well
-
I guess hes announcing at 430, can be viewed on ustream.tv

For those of you who didn't know... DEVIN OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCES TODAY. Kool-aid time!
Any idea as to when he'll announce, as in hour/minute?

A lot of USC folks seem to think he's headed there...
I still think we will get Peat, but I know someone close to the program (yay cool), and he said we could lose him. Makes you think why we all of a sudden looked at Whitaker and went after Goodman late.
I always felt if we went after another OL that it wouldn't be a good sign myself, and he's announcing on ESPN which rarely, if ever, goes NEB way. It's gonna be a tough pill to swallow if we can't reel him in.

He's going to UW or UCLA. My educated guess is UW in the end where he can start all four years.
-
Robinson is also going into his senior year, Taylor is going to be a junior who spent most of last season learning how to manage a game in a new offense. No excuses for some boneheaded decision making but lets put things in perspective.
-
Comparing classes, Stanford has 5 OL verbally committed, USC has 3. Doesn't mean a thing but just worth mentioning.
-
Is that why I search for him on twitter and I primarily see japanimation and japanese characters? Makes a lot of sense now haha
-
ESPN justs like getting a rise out of NEB fans it seems. Wonder what Trev Alberts said to piss them off before he left, probably the blunt truth. Peat has got to be N, IMO.

Little off topic but that Andy staples article about decommits hopefully enlightens Husker fans to realize what a coaching change does to a recruiting class. Prior to 07 we lost Josh freeman, we lose out on BG, and we are left with what we have now at QB (not critical of TM bc he definitely matured last season, but is still work in progress), and losing two top 100 recruits that would have played 3-4 years killed our depth at OL. We're still reeling from BCs 5-7 season. Not making any excuses for where we are now but i believe it explains a little.

Apparently the committment to UW was false...still visiting OU this weekend. No chance he ends up at Nebraska though.
Eff'n Scout jumping the gun again. Yeah, BB moved on from Nebraska long ago.
I think scout is correct and that BB is a silent commit to UW, waiting til after his OU visit.

If beaver chooses washington does it improve our chances?
UW is bringing in an all new D staff and UW would take anybody of value on that side of the ball, they're that bad, so really, I wouldn't say if BB committed it would improve our chances. My roommate, a huge UW follower, just told me BB is a silent commit. Sark at UW always "woofs" on his twitter when a recruit commits, but I think BB is a drama queen and is waiting to announce

Now plans to decide next week giving him time for 1 more visit. That visit will be to either Tennessee or Washington.
If he goes to Washington for a visit then I hope he likes snow? The Northwest is under a winter storm warning. Seattle is due to get 4-7 in. of snow over the next 36 hours.
Hahaha that's the PNW, a 4-7 inch winter "storm" that shuts down schools, businesses and transportation. I'm pretty sure that snow will be melted away by the rain before he arrives anyway, but any snow around the Puget Sound communities and they practically shut down, could push him toward a visit to Tennessee

Rumor I heard he himmed and hawed and almost committed, but obviously didn't. Won't say who, but has a favorite, will announce on Wednesday. UW Huskies could be in the mix, they just hired away OSU beavers DB coach, his expected old position coach. Never know until it's inked.

Not that i didn't like Rose in other prospects ears, but I question whether he (or anyone else) had any impact. Haven't heard any recruit mention, "the reason why I chose Nebraska is because Michael Rose (or so and so) was in my ear about it." Don't get me wrong, I loved hearing it myself and I think it is an early sign of a team leader, but I think kids commit to programs based on other factors, especially for a program that is still rebuilding.
