  1. Mora might be going to the chargers

Take this for what its worth.... I heard a rumor several weeks ago that if Andy Reid were to get fired (He did this morning) that he would be the leading canidate for the San Diego job. He just built a house there within the last year....

Adam Schefter reported that the Chargers weren't interested in Reid a couple days ago

  2. Rodney Gardner, Georgia's defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator, is headed to Auburn. I don't think this would change anything, but did he sign yesterday?

The early JUCO signing period is for early enrollees only.

Toby is a spring grad, so he will sign in February

I wasn't sure when he was graduating. I was hoping he hadn't signed yet. Like I said, I don't think he'll reconsider. I just thought it would have sucked if his position coach and, I'm assuming, lead recruiter left the day after he signed.

  3. WTF??? Racism doesn't have anything to do with it.

Look at the shape of the face, smile, eyes...

Right when I saw the first picture, I thought it looked like someone I had seen before. I finally figured it out.

    I was just joking man

  4. Alright, I found the answer from the NCAA:

"The reduction in football scholarships will begin with the 2012-13 academic year. USC will be able to offer 15 initial scholarships (instead of the maximum of 25) and 75 total scholarships (instead of the maximum of 85) for each of the next three academic years. This reduction will not impact those student-athletes who have already signed for the 2011-12 academic year."

So USC is limited to BOTH 75 total scholarships and 15 per year. So players leaving will not help them get beyond the 15 recruits.

They already have 18 committed... Something tells me there's a way around it.

I would assume, since nothing is official until they sign a letter of inent, they have until national signing day to ditch some of these committed kids? I have no idea, other than it being U$C, how they would get away with doing that though. But hey, what do I know, I'm not a snake like Kiffin, so I don't understand underhanded thought process.

P.S. I love Willis and hope he comes to Nebraska when all is said and done.

  5. Will take an official visit to UCLA when it hosts Nebraska on Sept. 8, Arkansas on Sept. 15 when Alabama visits, Cal on Oct. 6 for the UCLA game.

He is also planning OV to Oklahoma and to Nebraska.

    No longer visiting Ok. State.

Looks like he will get to watch Nebraska play twice.

    and UCLA twice

  6. So, he is offical now?

Here's a pic from today with Andrus Peat in his Stanford hat and Moss in his Husker hat:

    Good decision, Avery!

at least our guy can keep the bottom of his tie from peeking out the bottom (:

  7. I went to school with Shoff until he moved to Cambridge. We weren't in the same class but I was talking to some people who were and they can't see him walking on anywhere. He wants to be a Husker really bad but no one can see his dad letting him pass up a free education (and from what I do know about his dad I agree). He's a nice kid and everything but if the coaching staff doesn't give him a scholly he won't be in Lincoln.

quite simply, good. if he is only good enough for kansas then that is all he is good enough for. we dont need the guy we have better recruits that we are looking at and who will likely commit.

I agree. He would be a good pick up as a walk on but I don't know if he'd be worth it on scholarship. He's always been the biggest kid and I don't think he'd transition to everyone being as big and bigger than him.
