saturday's game should be one of the most watched regular season games ever. mostly because of people wanting to see deion's home debut after a big win.

it gives nebraska a chance to prove we are not a joke if we can dominate the line and win this game...a bad loss essentially kills any momentum for recruiting for the rest of the year.

i think it's going to be a really important game to win. thoughts?

Hope not I put 5 k on Colorado at the South Point sports book

Satterfield had a bad first game.

    1. We were winning a grind it out game when he decided to increase passing in the 2nd half. One drive we threw 3 straight times and gave the ball right back to MN.

    2. Calling plays to keep Sims in the pocket plays to Sims weakness. Sims is not a pocket passer and does not see the field well in the pocket

    3. Poor play calling in the red zone.

Yes and what is crazy this is game management it’s some thing that should be a skill and can be learned however i rarely see a coach get better in this area is something that they seem to simply have or they never have it. So likely what will happen is Alberts will be fired Satterfield will be fired Rhule will be fired in that order. Man your number one job as a head coach is to bring in good coordinators or gtfo

    -TE felony arrest

    -lets casey thompson walk

-couldn't beat a below average minnesota team.

-loses our best linebacker in a transfer to michigan

-makes an 8-25 QB our starter

-says grant has fumbling issues. puts grant in when all we needed to do was not fumble

-couldn't find 1 go to receiver to throw to.

i'm probably missing some other stuff, but you get the idea.

Actually a good point I don’t think so. I think a blow out loss would have been better than what we saw last night. Losing games at the end with a heavy dose of coach Mia management, and honestly 3 ints if it wasn’t for the td pass on a broken play that could have went south. That might have been the worst qb play I’ve ever seen at Nebraska.

True but Vegas does rig games big time

And to be honest we have lost 26 games in less than 5 years by one score or less almost every single one of them came down to a 50/50 call be a ref. We have this discussion almost every time the Huskers loose to have that many 50/50 calls go against us like that the probability is 0.0000000149. So I don’t know what’s going on but that would be the odds if you were to flip a coin 26 times and it landed on heads that many times in a row.

I believe the 50/50 calls even out over time until they don’t and right now they don’t with  0.0000000149 Being the odds of loosing that many times on 50/50 calls there is something going on not sure what exactly but something is up

The refs aren't out to get Nebraska, or any B1G team,  or any team at all.  They are human, and make mistakes. Guess what? So do you.  All fans dislike the refs, and no they didn't cause us to lose the game, the team and coaches did that.   Get over it. These arguments make you sound dumber than you are.

Nebraska is probably slightly better defensively than 2022 which is good. Minnesota has good receivers, probably the best in the B1G West and we took away the running game completely. They'll keep us in games.

On offense, the team is signifactly worse. With no Palmer to bail them out and a lack of other receivers and a QB that seems to struggle in the pushing game, Nebraska will like be a less dynamic and more turnover prone offense than 2022. It's hard to overstate how bad the offense was tonight, especially the pass game. It was brutal outside of the broken play. The run game at RB is below average, and the only reliable offense is QB runs. We're especially the 2021 AMart offense but much worse.

Maybe we should run the option
