My how the tides have turned... Having Bradley, Johnson, Gregory, Valentine, Curry, and Randle all on the depth chart at DT next year would make me feel much better about our defense's potential next year.

The coaching change at Vols might be to Bradley what Sandland was to us. At least I am hoping. Plus Missouri is kind of a joke. Between the 3 I agree we should have a decent shot, but those teams are $EC and they do pay well!!

6-2 is a great size for DT's this guy at 315 lbs could get some good leverage!!

Yeah a little slow, he might be a little higher rated if he was faster. Bo likes DT's that can get after the QB's a little, but as long as your DT's can get some push they will give your ends a better chance to get to the QB. The fact is we need a pure run stopper next year, and Bradley fits the bill. He would be a great pick up, and along with VV and the rest of our boys, DT wouldn't be the issue next year as it was this year, as long as we stay HEALTHY!!

Just got around to watching this kid's film. Tell you what, he's got a mean streak on him. He really plays with a temper and great leverage.

I see a mean streak as an advantage, even though scouts tend to dislike it. I have even seen people loose stars because of it and it could be the same here, but you have to be aggressive when playing people u can't be afraid to tear someones head off. I don't even care that his composite score with rivals is a 2 star. I seriously doubt at times they know what they are doing these scouting agency's. I see a guy with great size, good speed to get pressure on the QB, and a guy that is very disruptive. With the leverage this guy will get at 6-2 300 lbs. He should be a great run stopper. He has all of the characteristics I would look for in a 5 star DT. Like I said I think this guy is way underrated, and he is one of the best DT's I have seen us recruit since Suh. He might have a big boom or bust tendency, but I think this guy who be great for us. Heard he was leaning Mizzuo I am wondering if that has changed.

Something about Priest has always kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Hope he proves me wrong, but my instincts about people are usually right unfortunately. Like I said, I hope I am way off here!!

There is no reason for me to want anything more then a non commit to Nebraska to die in hell!! Don't care about anybody else sugar coating it, we all feel the same

How did our DT's perform this season? Western Kentucky and Texas San Antonio also return linemen with FBS experience. Does that mean they are solid? Hooks and Russell were a solid upgrade in the trenches for us. No reason to try to sugarcoat it.

 

how do you know hooks and russell are solid upgrades? how many snaps in FBS competition have they taken, combined?

 

we also didnt have our full contingent of dt's available this year. they still have bowl practices, spring practice and off season workouts to get better, and healthy. no reason to cry over spilt milk.

Demetrius Campbell is the best DT target we have left, and we don't even have a discussion thread on him!!

Give me a break. The 2013 season did not rest on this or any of our JUCO targets. They would of helped, but the success of the season is not predetermined by the decisions made today.

I completely disagree. Teams are made through recruiting. Its the life blood of a football program. Today the blood was drained from ours. What happens when the body has no blood?

He might be a massive long shot, but I think he is our best chance to land a DT at this point. We are in a lot of trouble!!
