Come on man, you know damn well they were two very different situations. Tie game with a cold qb in, could take lead with 3 minutes left with a defense that hadnt given up anything all day at home.

Running all over WI driving down the field down 3 on the road. Get first down and then run 30 seconds off the clock instead of using your timeouts and running it down their throat more. And if they stop it then kick the fg. Dont play not to lose, play to f#&%ing win based on the situation and how the game has gone up to that point.

So lemme get this straight. Our only points up to this was once again a broken play that was a qb run and a massive pass that was a broken tackle… and you’re confident that we’re scoring 7 that drive, in the road, at night in wiscy

I wish I had your confidence man.  This game wasn’t lost because of play calling not being aggressive- it was lost because once again our kicking game was garbage and we don’t have any receivers that we can count on

This.........if you're going to take and L , at least be aggressive about it.

Right, because it’s not like 90% of this board was demanding satt get fired last Saturday for… wait for it….. being aggressive and take the L

This board man, I fear we’ve all banged our heads a bit too much and our memory in the gutter

    Don’t tell this to @gossamorharpy

He’ll get real emotional about it.

Lol, you do realize the coaching staff got roasted all week for doing this against Maryland?

You literally just helped my argument. You fall in the bucket of posters who are pissed when we dont go for it and play it safe and then also post and are pissed when we’re too aggressive and don’t play it safe- whatever fits your narrative is prolly the side you fall on.

good riddance! Hope your back isn’t sore from moving the goalposts too much, can’t wait to see u complain Friday that we’re too aggressive after throwing a pick

also, I only got emotional because u took it personal. Take a look in the mirror

Agree, but QB needs to take it up field force the defender to commit.  We are horrible at the option.  Scrap it.  Also we need to emphasize physicality when blocking...We are lacking in that.

100% agree, can we add the read option and wr screen to this too?

Where did I change the goal posts? We were well within FG range when we had 3rd down and let the clock run, which is when I made the bottom post.

I could care less about a random screen grab from a random post you had with others. I called out your ridiculous first take as you make it sound like we have all pro talent at qb and wr and then changed it to “the last few seconds”

good day, good riddance. The only thing possibly worst than our qb room and special teams this year is ridiculous posts from posters like you acting as if we’re stacked with talent

Chubba has no idea how to run the option it seems, he had no pressure and pitched it.  Do not run that with him.

That was 100% on Bonner not putting his body on the first guy, would’ve had 8-10 yards easily and Bonner didn’t even tough him

You don’t even know what that phrase means. I made literally one call, which is you don’t let the clock run out on 3rd down there.

I 100% know what changing the goal posts means cause you got caught. We weren’t even in field goal range when you made your first hot takes posts.

enjoy the end of the game- not gonna spend another second going back and forth with someone changing the narrative to change their dumb take

Because it was obvious on 3rd down, and everyone knows it but you, that you run it on 3rd down and then call the time out at 3 seconds if you don’t get 1st down. The fact I called it before the next plays means I was correct. It doesn’t mean what you think it does. You are lacking a basic understanding here.

    lol, time stamps don’t lie.

and everyone but me? Have u watched any of our games this year bro? Of course Rhule is terrified about getting any kind of aggressive calling out there. Most known it except you.

your posts occurred well before there were a few seconds left lol

the only thing I’m lacking is not changing the goal posts lol, I hope you’re not a lawyer

No. You don’t let the time run out on 3rd down. You run it on 3rd down after the time out and then let it run out on 4th down if you don’t get it. This is basic pop warner coaching.

That is not what you were referencing and we both know it. You posted your take before those last 2 calls lol

Combination. The Frost era was never too short on talent. It was the lack of development and discipline within the ranks that made it the challenge.

There are some on here that have jumped all over the WR coach and continue to do so. Not sure what people expect when you are throwing out true freshman with a suspect QB room.

Hopefully good things continue to happen and they can make strides. Getting bowl eligible will only add to the growth of these young guys...really hope that happens!

Uhhhhh, what?  Outside of 2AM, his greatest claim was an undersized wideout he deliberately used as a running back who transferred and a TE turned center who couldn’t snap for 2 years and then became solid….. that’s it

90% of the “talent” he recruited never even played a down before dipping.

fully agree on the WR coach s#!t talk being ridiculous. It has been frustrating watching bullock and others drop catches- I’ll give McGuire a pass until of next year so he has a full recruiting cycle (class of 2024) while Coleman/doss gets another year exp
