He has officially set up a visit for the weekend of Jan. 5th.  I like his productivity while at Wake Forest.  Still question as to why Julian Fleming hasn't pulled the plug on his recruiting.  It appears that Penn State is the leader but we all have seen crazy things happen in recruiting so until he does pull the trigger then Nebraska still has a chance.

Fleming has already committed to PSU. He just hasn’t put it into the public space.

    Yep, spot on,

2022: 42/636/9--Had Sam Hartman at QB who is a darn good college QB

2023: 59/653/4--WF had a big step back with Griffis at QB, probably the reason Banks is in the portal.

Banks would be an awesome pickup for NU, he's that big body 50/50 ball winner with good speed to boot WR that Nebraska has lacked for a while. Basically, Banks is what we all hoped Omar Manning would be.

My god don’t remind me of that one. Talk about look like Tarzan play like Jane. Or maybe practices like Jane.

    This is pretty true.

The "drug war" thing is kind of over.  Being against abortion of any kind if you are a man is weird.  Guns are lame.  I get if it you are hunting (which is also lame, but I get it).  I have so many friends that own guns and they have NEVER shot them.  Why have them??

Self defense, protection from a tyrannical trump/biden government, collection pieces, hunting, etc. My Henry lever action for example is almost as much of a collector piece as it is a hunting tool. Almost! I still take it hog hunting.

And why the republicans will continue to lose. An aging platform. Nobody gives a f#&% about drugs. And the party for “small government” is just as large as the opposer. Spying on Americans should result in government officials behind bars. Bring back individual rights. Should be the party of gun rights, individual rights including abortion/religious freedom/marijuana usage. Now it is the party of dorks.

Same problem as the F-16s. They're most effective when you already have air superiority. Neither side has come close to achieving that.

This is the perfect conflict for stealth technologies, and the fact that Russia hasn't really deployed the Felon beyond their own borders is very telling about how few they have operational and how "stealth" it truly is.

Russia is really an army from the 80s that sports some modern s#!tty tech in minimal numbers. Their greatest strength is their willingness to kill their own men. A tale as old as time. Grab the guys gun before you. If you were to switch geographical locations with the USA & Ukraine it would be a blood bath for them.

Now that the early signing day has come and gone I thought it would be fun to mention some players we are looking forward to watching in the spring game. List five players (current and early enrollees) you are keeping an eye on during the spring game. Please don't include Raiola. He is low hanging fruit for this. Plenty of other threads to discuss DR.

    1) Demitrius Bell - (rFR) Bell has been mentioned multiple times by the coaches for the work he put in this past year on the scout team. The rumor has been he was academically inelibgle this past year. Assuming he is good to go now, I think he has the talent to make a difference next year.

    2) Dylan Rogers (rFR) Losing Reimer and Henrich in the middle there are snaps to be taken. Can Rogers be that thumper in the middle against run heavy teams? Listed at 235. Hoping to see him in the rotation this year.

    3) Jeremiah Charles (rFR) Rhule has brought up Charles unsolicited multiple times. Super athlete. Played in the final two games of 2023.

    4) Sam Sledge (rFR) - Can he win a guard job?

    5) James Williams rSO) - How much weight can he put on? Could be a huge piece of our pass rush in 2024.

I am curious to see how guys like Jeremiah Charles & Brice Turner develop. They are talented track guys but up to this point are not very good football players quite yet. And with a lot of the guys coming in I wonder if they get passed up. Wonder if we never employed Wager if they would’ve gotten offered.
