  1. ANother thing i love about the game is if you throw a bad pass it's getting picked and going the other way. It's realistic.

    Sometimes.

I took a video of the perfect example last year. I had a receiver running a post route down the middle by the left hash mark, and the defender was at the right hash mark. My WR makes his cut, I throw the football with (and I'm not over-exaggerating) perfect accuracy. The defender takes one step to the left and then quite literally slides five yards and makes an amazing block on the ball. There's no physical way that a human being could have made that defensive play in real life. It was almost like the computer calculated the chance of a successful pass as soon as I threw it, decided it was time I missed one, and intentionally made it so I screwed up.

Obviously, it's a video game, but it's a video game entirely based on a real-life sport. And when it comes to sports games, you can't fool around. I don't get mad at the game if I do something that was stupid (like throwing a jump ball into triple coverage). I do get mad, though, when the game bends it's own principles into uncanny ways of screwing me over.

Happend to me lots of times. The LBs just block everything in their way and the pitch is basically usless. I dont like the way how DBs are like NFL pro bowlers thats why I only run the ball.

  2. Florida State...I just don't get it. They are ranked high every. single. year. And they are mediocre every. single. year. Please, just stop it already. They play in an absolutely pathetic conference, and can never get more than 9 wins in it. 9 wins is not worthy of a top 10 ranking. 25 teams from the "Big 6" won at least 9 games last year. 9 wins has become pretty average.

USC is going to win f'ing everything this year though.

Agreed on the Florida State thing but you can add to that list ND, And Texas.

  3. how dare you use logic here. Blasphemy!

Pelini has a type of personality that you either love or hate. I cant imagine it would be easy to work for/play for. But one thing i do respect... he always has his players back (sometimes to a fault).

But on the flip side about Bo's love or hate personality..... he does get players to stay the whole time. Dennard, Suh, Prince, David, Crick, Stienkuhler, etc could have all left their Jr year for the draft but stuck it out. Most coaches cant keep their "proven" players on campus for their sr year, so make sure you see the positive side as well.

Yes but Dennard, Steinkuhler, And Crick hurt their pockets by staying.

Crick yes (but you can't predict that). Dennard was mostly his own doing. Stein is yet to be seen. He would have been a VERY late round pick had he gone out now. I don't see his stock doing anything but moving up this season.

Crick was projected as a 1st rounder (LAST YEAR) So this injury and his poor performance hurt him a ton. Dennard probably could of been 4th round. Stein would of got undrafted.
