Bama and Florida are now shwoing alot of interest in Joe, the SEC schools do scare me a little.
I would just worry about Bama. I cant see how kids like Florida who was awful last year and should be even worse this year. Who cares if you play in the SEC if you only win 6 games.

I'm not getting my hopes up for this one, I can't see him turning down USC in the end.
USC is not even in his top 5. Dont worry.

Several names for Ankraha I will decide which one to use by tommorow.
And what significance will that have on the world?
I will use it in my next thread? I just wanted to hear some cool nicknames from you guys.

i hope they invite malik zaire...i know even if he was invited there's a chance he might not even come, but you gotta take a chance
That kid from LA looks pretty good to. I want Mathis And Su'a to come for this day because it would only increase our chances for Su'a to see Lincoln and help even more for Mathis. Some offensive lineman and DTs would be nice to. May I suggest a "Big dog camp" For lineman.

as of today we are: http://sports.omaha....ad-for-star-de/
Good! Except USC is out of his final 5 thank god. I thinks its Neb and Mich are way ahead but Washington made up some ground and Bama and UCLA.
-
Does anyone know anything after his visit to Washington? Are we still his leader?

The diamond is only going to be a change of pace formation. Although I think it has a significant amount of useful applications in a game, I doubt we'll ever see the formation more than five times in a game.
I can dream cant I?

Copying off Blackshirts007 I see?

Cross/Zimmerer and Marrow on the sides, Rex behind Martinez. Even bigger BOOM.
I like Marrow up front to have some great blocks. Left- Marrow. Back- Rex. Right- Cross or Abdullah.
That's what I'm thinking. Then Martinez calls the play to the left/right depending on how the defense lines up. Good for 5 yards, every time. Run this about 20 times in the first half and watch the defense slowly break down, then Martinez starts breaking them up the middle for 80+ in the second half.
You sir have just read my mind.

Not sure what this guy projects to on the next level, but he looks like a pretty good, all around, blue collar athlete.
LB. Not sure which one but probably outside. May be hard to get playing time with Bando, Love being OLBs to. I think we offered him because Afalava is unsure if he will make it to Nebraska because of academic issues. Charles Jackson 2.0
LB? With that frame? I was thinking more DB/WR.
Said that at the Nebraska combine he would be a linebacker or a safety. If he would play linebacker it would be outside linebacker. No idea where he would be at safety.

Yep, add those additional big bodies that can serve as pulling guards of sorts, with the slightly increased mobility they'd bring as fullbacks. I can also see having Rex behind Martinez with Bell or Turner to one side and Cross or Zim or Marrow on the other. A lot of opportunity for misdirection there, with either a planned fake or zone read to the speedster on one side, taking a defender with them, and having Martinez, the big back (depending on whether its a planned fake or an actual read), and Rex go in the other direction with an eye at having an option to Rex available or eschewing that and having Martinez keep with the big back looking to pick up a block to seal the inside and have Martinez and Rex flare out. If you have Enunwa locked up on a CB or safety, you've got a shot at Martinez and Rex running with one defender to beat. Martinez could then potentially use his straight line speed to K-State the D, or flip it to Rex, who always makes the first guy miss. A lot of potential in this formation.
I wish Beck would just make that our base formation for every play!

That was a good one but he is no longer a player and I wont include him sorry. Maybe I should make an other catagory?

Aaron Green(er) Pastures
On my former thread his nickname was "Green Machine" Now its "Leave Machine".
-
We Offered him? Fantastic! Hopefully he could commit! I think the odds are on our sides with this one!
-
plans to visit with priest willis for the wisconsin or michigan game
Wow I didnt even know we were still in it for him!
-
Aaron was a Husker until you nicknamed him the "green machine" Decked. Nice going - we all told u the nickname was bad.
. I blame you guys for not giving me a better nickname.

I think we should still use it...and If I were Beck, I'd use it a lot. I'd run it as the base. That's just me though.
I agree to that I think Abdullah, Marrow, And Rex is still a great combo. Marrow could be a dominant run blocker and Rex would be the perfect fake runner for a play action pass and he has some pretty good pass blocking skills for a RB. And after Marrow gets his block Abdullah would be gone.

Father said checking out Oklahoma Baylor,Texas Tech, TCU, Houston. Wants to be closer to home. Not really about playing time.

If we where an air raid offense I would no longer be a Nebraska football fan even the spread for me is just painful to watch. I like ground and pound all the way straight running it up the middle and try and stop me. And recruit huge 320 pound lineman from all over and turn it back into the pro factory for lineman it once was.
