We are working on a fix. Just became aware of the issue. Should have an update after the weekend.
When you said "just became aware of the issue," did you mean you just found out what was causing it? Because you mentioned an update a month and a half ago but nothing has changed.
Or did you mean you just became aware that this was a problem? Because that is not true; this issue has been plaguing users for well over a year.

Good question. I have been waiting for my boys to have teacher that discusses a lot of the current cultural trends or is politically vocal on the left. She addresses the kids as those identifying as men or women and said she treats everyone the same and is very inclusive. Then she mentioned that the readings for the term were not going to be traditional American literature because that is dominated by white misogynistic men. He said she often takes good conversations and injects politics into them. In one example, my son was telling her about the refugees our family has helped settle in the US, and she diverted into talking about how the US border policies are too restrictive and the US need to let people across more freely. He said she tends to divert into political discussions frequently. I have been asking about what stories she has them read. He noted that in the last 6 short stories the main character committed suicide in 4 of them which he felt were odd choices since suicide is a sensitive topic. In one book, the main characters young daughter had her first babysitting job and ended up getting molested by the father of that family while being driven home. He is a senior taking a college level lit class, so I am not bothered by the content as long as the event was portrayed as a bad thing versus maybe trying to normalize it. In my other sons class she is having them write a paper on human rights and the students get to pick what to write about. She was disappointed when no one picked trans rights and strongly encourage someone to do so. No one did. In general they both feel she is nice person.
given all the angst in the media about CRT being taught in schools, the sexualization of kids, books being banned, etc,…it’s interesting to me to monitor a couple classes where my boys have a politically active teacher. I asked my kid to get me name of the short stories so I can read them. To be fair, I have had a number of discussions with my boys when I discovered or heard about events that I felt were racist or chauvinistic as well,…or if someone was simply getting treated poorly.
This does not seem atypical for a college professor. Probably a little full of herself. Probably goes a bit too far in asserting her own political views but might be outraged if someone else said something that opposed her (pure speculation, not everyone is like this). However, I believe that introducing diverse viewpoints and seeking inclusivity is not necessarily political and actually should be a goal in the classroom.
Thanks for sharing the info, but how do you define “woke”?

I just finished this over the weekend. Really good, well-made show. I'm glad they're doing more seasons.
They need to have more screen time for Catherine Zeta-Jones. She kills it as Morticia.
Zeta-Jones must have gotten a new agent or something. I haven't seen her do anything for years, but now she pops up on two new series. Wednesday is very clever and entertaining. CZJ is also the bad guy in a new National Treasure series on Disney+. However, that show is terrible. My family loves the National Treasure movies, but we only watched a couple episodes of the new series. It is garbage.
Disney has been trying to shoehorn too many of its profitable franchises into lackluster series for their streaming service. Willow sucks. The Marvel and Star Wars content is hit or miss. Every new Simpsons short is an abomination of sadness.

I know you already know this...but the comparisons to Nazis is not about concentration camps. Not yet anyway. Those camps were a horrific byproduct from a fascist government that was not stopped. The comparison between the Nazis and GOP starts with the outright fascist tendencies that they share. Characteristics that you apparently value.
Demonizing minorities and immigrants, hypernationalism, fear mongering, consolidating power, suppressing and banning critical viewpoints, disregarding democratic values and human values...

Agreed. 95 the most dominate but 94 must be the most determined. After losing to FSU the year before, the stadium clock was used as a reminder for them to Finish Business - with that .01 second on the clock. 94 they go through all of Tommie's and Brook's injuries and Thurman coming in to beat Kansas State. The struggle was an all season affair - and then the Orange Bowl where Miami looked for a knockout punch that never came. Tommie and Brook taking turns at QB and then the 'glorious' 4th quarter where it all came down to this (and it still gives me goosebumps):
Man...the 4th quarter of that Orange Bowl...The drama. The backstory. The monkeys on backs. Those cocky Miami muckerfuthers. The blood, sweat, and tears. And then the win. There is simply nothing better than that 4th quarter.

The '94 Nebraska team was more about perseverance than actual dominance. Losing Frazier to a blood clot, then Berringer to a collapsed lung, starting a 3rd string QB on the road against a Top 10 opponent, playing the national championship game on the opponent's home field where they had been nearly unbeatable. That team was tough and overcame a lot of challenges. But they never lost a game, which Georgia did in '21.
Meanwhile, the only challenge the '95 Husker team had to overcome was the LP situation. They beat the $h!t out of everybody. Georgia rolling over TCU was nice, but TCU (aside from their own fun, scrappy season) was not nearly the contender Florida was in 95. Florida was clearly better than anyone else in the country that year, until Nebraska ate their souls. Georgia beat Missouri by 4, Kentucky by 10, OSU by 1. Nebraska was more dominant overall and more consistent throughout the season.

Having Betts and IGC come back will make the WR room feel like a Marvel movie: bringing back these old characters who appeared in prior episodes, to team up with the new characters for the final battle.
At some point late in the season when we really need a spark, Kenny Bell is going to walk through an interdimensional portal to tell us he still has some eligibility.

So before we get into another one of Archy's attempts to muck up a conversation by getting nitpicky about one specific detail (I'm afraid we are already there though), let's remember that this particular point started when he responded to this:
3 hours ago, knapplc said:They were going to get to that right after Infrastructure Week, which was scheduled for the week after they passed their healthcare plan to replace Obamacare.
with this:
3 hours ago, Archy1221 said:They did pass a healthcare plan out of the House which you are very aware of
The general comment and discussion is about Republican's failures and BS, but Archy wants to make it specifically about the House.
It is true that the House passed a bill in 2017, which is what Archy wants to hang his hat on. His links show that. Way to go GOP! But that was not the same bill that McCain voted against. When it got to the Senate, the Republicans changed it, with a plan to defund and dismantle Obamacare, and come out with their replacement plan a couple of months later.
QuoteThe House narrowly passed the American Health Care Act (AHCA), 217 to 213. An earlier version had failed, but amendments were added that brought along conservatives who had previously balked. The Senate, however, was not happy with the AHCA and crafted its own version of the law, the Better Care Reconciliation Act (BCRA).
...
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) offered a plan to repeal Obamacare and then delay implementation for two years while lawmakers worked out the details. That would have only needed 51 votes for passage, but it was rejected, 45 to 55, with seven Republicans (including McCain) voting against it.
Finally, there was a vote on “skinny repeal.” This would have repealed the individual and employer mandates but it would have left much of the rest of the law intact, including Medicaid expansion. In other words, this would not have put any cap on Medicaid spending. This is the bill that McCain, Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) voted against, along with all Democrats, so it only had 49 votes.
Even if it had passed, the differences between the AHCA and the skinny repeal would have been stark and perhaps insurmountable.
Oh yes, there is Archy's boy Rand Paul going to work again.
So the GOP Senator's changed it to repeal, but had no plan for replacement. McCain's concerns are mentioned here:
https://www.nbcnews.com/health/obamacare/mccain-hated-obamacare-he-also-saved-it-n904106
QuoteAfter Republicans spent months bickering amongst themselves about which was better, McCain was disappointed in the option presented to senators hours before their vote: hobble the ACA and trust that a handful of lawmakers would be able to craft an alternative behind closed doors, despite failing to accomplish that very thing after years of trying.
What bothered McCain more, though, was his party’s strategy to pass their so-called skinny repeal measure, skipping committee consideration and delivering it straight to the floor. They also rejected any input from the opposing party, a tactic for which he had slammed Democrats when the ACA passed in 2010 without a single GOP vote. He lamented that Republican leaders had cast aside compromise-nurturing Senate procedures in pursuit of political victory.
and the statement from McCain's office:
https://www.npr.org/2017/07/27/539907467/senate-careens-toward-high-drama-midnight-health-care-vote
Quote"From the beginning, I have believed that Obamacare should be repealed and replaced with a solution that increases competition, lowers costs, and improves care for the American people. The so-called 'skinny repeal' amendment the Senate voted on today would not accomplish those goals. While the amendment would have repealed some of Obamacare's most burdensome regulations, it offered no replacement to actually reform our health care system and deliver affordable, quality health care to our citizens. The Speaker's statement that the House would be 'willing' to go to conference does not ease my concern that this shell of a bill could be taken up and passed at any time."
Sounds like the way today's GOP handles everything else, honestly. What a bunch of f&*k-ups. The GOP did not have a replacement. In the months and years following this, they still have yet to offer a replacement. The GOP House passed a bill that the GOP-controlled Senate could not pass, even when they changed the plan and changed the rules. Is this the point you are trying to make, Archy? Is this your defense of the Republicans when it comes to Healthcare.
This is your Republican Utopia. They have no answers for anything, except chaos and disinformation.

Why would you call me Mr. Santos?
Because you are making $h!t up.
While it is difficult to keep up with the long list of GOP lies, failures, and obfuscations, one of their most well-known failures is that they never had a plan to replace Obamacare. They tried to defund/repeal/dismantle Obamacare, which is what McCain voted against, but the reason he voted against it was because there was no plan to replace. We kept hearing the falsitude for a while that the actual plan was going to come out a few weeks later, but it never did.

I kinda thought Matt had outlived his usefulness to the program, but whatever.

I agree with the above. Casey did some good things with his feet, but there was very little rushing by design. In the Northwestern game, he had a damn impressive scramble after breaking a tackle, keeping his balance, and completing a deep pass, turning a big loss into a big gain. He has the right mojo as an athlete and seems to be a good leader/teammate.
Unfortunately, one onside kick later that same game, and the season was already over.

I was also impressed by Rhule's presser yesterday. I liked what we said about the OL...didn't necessarily believe him but I liked it. And I trust his ability to diagnose issues and make improvements, what we don't know is how quick it will happen.
To be fair, I liked everything I heard out of Frost in his first year as well. But Rhule seems different. More mature, more organized, more professional, and measured confidence instead of bravado. Goddammit I hope this works out.

This was too hard to quote on a mobile. I can briefly try and answer in order.
I haven’t looked at a poll lately but the border falls behind items like inflation/economy, education, crime depending on where you are. The news organizations you might read or listen are just starting to report on the border and I mentioned Newsome and the Denver mayor already complaining about being overwhelmed. Anytime people cross without knowledge of the authorities, it’s a mess. We need to be able to limit the people coming in and turn back the criminals. It’s not under control. Watch what happens when 42 goes down. I am supporter of controlled immigration. My family has volunteered to help refugees from places like Karin, Afghanistan and others settle in Denver. We are about to volunteer again. The whole family. I love to have my kids learn about the refugees lives and their stories are incredible. …But I am not for let people just walk in until we know who they are. Thousands a day cannot be controlled. Establish temp worker visas for short periods when the migrants work the summer crops. Pay a fair wage. Collect taxes and Medicare if they are using the system and let them come and go on the visas. Cut down the drug trafficking and gangs. There is a lot to improve and we may to shut it down to get it under control, then turn back on the spigot.
The policies that release criminals to go break the law again. Policies that let people walk with stuff that is not paid for without consequences. Safety is gained. Go talk to voters in Portland and see how they feel.
We were briefly net energy exporter. I would prefer not to be dependent on on anyone for our energy except maybe a little from Mexico and Canada just to be neighborly. Don’t force expensive alternatives when they are not efficient enough.I prefer less control over school districts with regard to curriculum. I would prefer that curriculum focus on the basics versus social issues. I would prefer that the schools offer advanced classes for kids that are ready. Ability grouping is fine. I think the lockdowns and remote learning were a disaster and did more harm than good. I would prefer teachers be paid on merit versus years of service. It’s getting late, I am getting tired and I have more responses to read.
Thanks for explaining some of your perspective, it is honestly appreciated.
I hope you stick around and continue to engage. There are still tons of questions and debatable viewpoints stemming from this post. But for now, it is still unclear what specific solutions/policies Trump or the GOP have proposed in these areas to actually make things better for Americans.

Given the mess at the border
Can you explain the mess at the border? And where does this rank as a priority for Americans?
1 hour ago, nic said:They could succeed in running on crime by simply saying they will undo Dem policies.
Which Dem policies on crime do you think should be undone? And what problems would be solved by undoing these policies?
1 hour ago, nic said:Develop any and all energy.
What do you mean by this? What policies do you favor that are different than the Dems?
1 hour ago, nic said:Lots of education policies they could try and undo.
Like what? And again, what problems would be solved by undoing these education policies?
Again, you said, "I think Trumpsters are looking for his policies without the crazy." What were Trump's specific policies that you and your people embraced, other than the wall?
Please don't interpret these posts as an attack. You are the one that brought up Trump's policies, and we want to know more and gain some insight into your thought process.
You see, our "leftist" viewpoints did not see Trump proposing actual policies. We saw him use the rhetoric of racism, smiting ones enemies, demonizing liberals, and outright chaos to try to hold onto power and enrich himself. The GOP did not even put out an actual platform or legislative agenda the last couple of elections. We know that their kooky rhetoric has garnered a lot of votes, but since you brought up policy...are Republicans actually interested in policy at all? This is why we have so many questions, and you are the only one around here to ask.

EJ Barthel Hired as Running Backs Coach

If you are giving advice to that particular poster, you should've just stopped right here.
There's no way that poster is old enough to purchase beer.
Since the rest of us are simply making $h!t up about what happened and why, here's what I think: Barthel and Allen planned this all in advance. Barthel wanted to make an early example out of one of the top players, so he told Allen to purposely dog it on this one rep and made sure that someone was there recording it. They knew it would generate some overinflated offseason discussion among us rubes, and that every player on the team would see it. It gives all of these kids an early wake up call, it makes a public show of accountability and tough love from our coaches, and it sets the stage for a good redemption story when Allen is named starter in August. Barthel gets a raise. Everyone wins!
