  1. That Rutgers loss really hurts....a win there puts us in solid 4th place in the BIG, which is a pretty good place to be. Gary is too good to lose. Oh, how I pine for someone who could step up and consistently get rebounds when Gary is not on the floor.

  2. I just hope they stop trying to please the fans by reminiscing about the olden days and start trying to please the fans by putting together the best offense for today. There's a time and place for our old running game but it's obviously not Satterfield's bag...nor apparently 99% of other modern coaches.

  3. I was hoping but didn't expect to beat Wisconsin. We started off way down but competed the rest of the game. I don't think we'll consistently get the shooting we got against Indiana, especially not away from home. We're gonna have to own the paint but don't have the guys to do it in the Big.

My Stubhub index is telling they are expecting a good turnout for this one.  Usually a lot of cheap seats available in non con.  Not today.

I noticed the prices were extremely high on the site I bought my last ticket. I was surprised. I bet they go down at game time.

  5. I bet Harby will be a backup QB and not a scrawny TE.
Edit: The more I think about it, if he's going to play as a receiver I'd rather have him play the receiver position they had in mind for Fleming and maybe do some trick plays out of that....then he wouldn't have to bulk up and be as slow as a hippopotamus.

  6. Carriker says we need another transfer QB with experience...I just don't see getting one who is any better than Haarberg and it would show disloyalty to our guys. I say we run with Harby and Danny....burn Danny's shirt if we have to....and get a good QB coach who can fix their problems. Just one opinion.

Did Keita's foot fall completely off his leg?

This has to be the longest recovery from a sprained ankle in the history of the world.

I was just about to ask about him. Does he intend to play basketball again? Does he practice? Maybe some local sportswriter can interview him and find out what the deal is. With Mast out for a few games, we could really use some of the guys on the roster. Maybe they should bring in Prochazka or Benhart to help out?

The question NOW becomes: Who does Dylan bring WITH him? Who ESPECIALLY wants to come to Nebraska now that this is the Heir Apparent? Pretty sure the coaches all went to Ainsworth to sell Carter Nelson on Riaola over his bud Danny Dimes. I'm pretty sure that Haarberg will be used in a different capacity next year, because he is an athletic talent and can play at the next level - just probably not at QB.

His announcement probably came TODAY to orchestrate some attention going to more people committing Tuesday and NSD. It's gonna be a cool week for the Huskers football team.

We still have a couple top receivers looking at us.
