I keep hearing how being in this lousy conference is the best because we make $50 million more than being in the Big 12,...so let's quit playing games and go after Cam Ward, the best QB in the portal by far.

We should go hard after Cam Ward.

There's no curse...we have QBs who aren't great and can't handle pressure and we have OCs who call stupid plays at critical times. Then there's the gambling aspect of modern sports that Coach Osborne warned about that makes you wonder what's going on behind the scenes. The real curse is that it's become semipro ball and it's not much fun anymore.

Fullerton was no cupcake but this game was never in doubt. I think last year's team might have lost. We have a bunch of scorers now.

Rienk Mast makes a difference. We have a ton of depth compared to some pretty pathetic recent teams.

I paid $35 for a 100 section seat. I think this will be the last game for cheap tickets unless the team completely tanks, which I don't expect to happen. Usually the BIG games are sellouts even with a worse team than this one.

If it's the Smurf Bowl in Boise I'd want to go for sure.

I feel bad for Chubba...he tries so hard but just makes some game killer mistakes. I really do believe that he'll figure out how to stop making the boneheaded plays, you can see he's improved a lot already since he got here.

Since everybody's reminiscing.....I think we would've won at least 7 games with Casey Thompson at QB. That's a major screw up.

I learned it would be best for Nebraska to go back to the Big 12 where the baseball team could play in warm weather most of the time and it would be easier to recruit football states where the players could be seen by their friends and family.

The Don't Care Anymore factor is getting pretty high around here.
