Philippe Reines is someone who likes throwing crap on the wall to see if any of it sticks and thinks he is much smarter and more important than he is..  It's possible he could even be right 5% of the time.

Weird that you chose to comment about the guy that commented on the 60 minutes tweet as opposed to having an opinion of McCabe or the guy that interviewed him.

That's true with some...not with others.

I don't believe that to be true for Murkowski, Collins and Sasse.  I'm sure there are others.

    It's definitely true with Sasse.

Ben Sasse:  https://www.nationalreview.com/news/sasse-warns-trump-national-emergency-dangerous-precedent/  “We absolutely have a crisis at the border, but as a Constitutional conservative I don’t want a future Democratic President unilaterally rewriting gun laws or climate policy,” Sasse said

Granted, that is a low amount, no dispute.

But there are some good prospects on the KCK side too that wouldn't be reflected here because of the state line split. Of 247 Sports Composite's top 17 prospects in Kansas, 10 are from the KCK metro (including one from Lawrence 25 miles away).

I did see there were some listed on the Kansas side.  Just a bit surprised only 2 on the Missouri side

Conservatives want Hispanics here for cheap exploitable labor to break unions, stagnate pay and cut benefits . I support none of that . I think if they want to come here fine . Speak the language , pay taxes , and obey all the same rules I have to .

So you want an actual law forcing people to speak your language?

But they aren't. Often alleged victims of sexual assault aren't identified, but alleged perpetrators are.  In instances where the alleged perp is exonerated, their name is still tied to that accusation.  Worse, accusations are usually given far bigger headlines than exonerations.

This is not the case at all. Police are not advocates. They are neutral fact-finders, and don't "believe" the victim any more than the accused. They identify legal issues they have jurisdiction over and conduct investigations.

  6. The guy that did the shooting in Aurora, IL wounded 5 armed police officers that have been presumably trained in active shooter scenarios.  I'd like to know how the average person can possibly think they are more safe carrying their own gun around with them.

actually yes. if Pedro refuses to speak English he doesn't have to do the required tasks that i do, and .Its dangerous in many cases to have that happen , I am required to figure out what they are saying, or get an interpreter. a huge waste of time .

So there are tasks that require you to specifically speak English and if you don't you don't have to do the task?

i have no problem learning more languages and am fully capable of doing so i i want to . I don't want to do it to accommodate  people who came to this country (many illegally) nope

Is someone forcing you to learn other languages to accommodate these "many illegal" people?

As with many other issues extreme views are the problem IMO.  I like to shoot guns and do some hunting, but i have no NEED for a gun in my everyday life. Do i think everyone should have a gun? Nope i think we should definitely limit who can have one , and what kind depending on the circumstances. Do i think we should outlaw guns altogether? Nope on that one either, its a fundamental right provided by the constitution within limits. I think sensible middle ground could be found to keep guns out of the hands of people who shouldn't have them , but i don't have much faith people on extreme ends of this issue will come together and make it happen.

There will be no sensible middle ground as long as the NRA exists.

How does anyone other than Maurice know what his intent was.  I'm sure the prosecuting attorneys want all of us to assume that his intent was to shame her because it fits so nicely in their shiny new law, but if we take a step back and think about all possible scenarios, then actual intent gets a little harder to prove.  I, personally can't stand the word "intent" included in any legal definition. It relies too much on assumptions to prove innocence or guilt.   So far with what all has been reported as facts, at this time Maurice appears to be guilty of nothing more than misdemeanor possession of child pornography.  If this were to be the case, then there should be consequences, but it is entirely different than the theoretical creep with 1000s of pics of 8yo's that Olddominionhusker described above.

    I agree with you.

I agree with you too.... But you can't punish on those kind of assumptions.

The only punishment I think is appropriate is for MW for keeping a video and sending it to the girl with the intent to shame her.

I have had no opinions of what or if any punishments come to the two males in the video or to the girl if it’s found she isn’t being honest about a rape.  All of that is irrelevant to me with regards to MW because he’s my RB on my team.

Mahomes is probably 6-8 games away, in his 2nd year as a starter, from passing Kaep in career TD's.... The two aren't in the same hemisphere talent wise.

But since you didn't like that example, how about Russell Wilson? If he took a knee do you think he'd be out of the league? Cam Newton? No, because their talent more than makes up for the supposed baggage that "kneeling" comes with. (For the record, I take no issue with Kaep kneeling).

It’s interesting you picked the 2 franchises that have been arguably the most sensitive  and supportive to the types of injustices Kap was protesting

It sounds like the video shows her willingly performing oral sex on a dude. If there's no physical force how can you prove it was assault? By taking her word?

You can’t say it was willingly.  She might have done it under fear of something worse happening to her
