Any relation to Tyrann?

Did I understand correctly that the money is going to come from the military budget should he actually be able to get the money?

He makes $750 K there would we pay more? Dawson made what $475?
Chinander is making $800K-ish. Doubtful Frost would pay the DL coach that much

Most Mexicans/Hispanics race is white. So Trump hates white people?
Race is also defined by ethnic origin.

I will not be mad. I said a few pages back that I walked back my initial feelings that he should be off the team. I do feel he deserves a few games suspension for sending the video to the girl with the intent to harm her.

If Trump's plans get overridden, he's going to have the mother of all meltdowns. And I'll love every minute of it. BUT, it sounds like the "undoing" process has to go through the normal legislative procedures. Per an article from Quartz...
"Congress can also end presidential national emergencies—if both the Houses and Senate agree by simple majority. A president’s veto of Congress’s refusal could be overridden only if there is a two-thirds majority in both chambers."
A Trump national emergency will face immediate legal challenges from Congress
That's what I read this morning as well. That's why I said I want to see how things play out on the right. Do they have the courage to finally put an end to this mass overreach?

It would probably get him killed! That AAF league doesn't seem to care if the QB lives or dies!
Which is fun to watch,
On a side note. I used to be able to dunk a basketball too. But really dunk. I took my kids to a science museum a few weeks ago and they had a sports science section. There was an area that looked like a basketball court where you could test your jumping abilities. I gave it a shot and touched the 10' rim but i felt a pop in my neck at the same time. Sucks getting old.

It's troubling because if they don't suppress it, it sets a legal precedent that future Presidents can then use. When Donald and his ilk are ejected from office, that is going to bite them in the a$$. But the misuse of those powers is setting up the office of President for being a jumping off point for totalitarianism as well.
I guess the question is, what does the modern day GOP care for more--the future of Democracy and this country, or sucking at the financial teat of Putin and Russian oligarchs at the expense of our country's sovereignty and future?
I completely agree. I don't want Democrats to wield this type of power anymore than I want Republicans.

No they don't. They know what he could do.
There is a reason why teams, when they call back players who have not played in a few years, have them workout first.
For instance, years ago I could dunk a basketball (not a cool dunk, but a lame one and everything needed to be perfect, like the gym fans could not even be on) but guess what I can't do now? Yep, I can't dunk.
Fair point. I just meant that him playing in the AAF would give him nothing to really show an NFL team that they haven't already seen or could see during a private workout.

Which isn't much, which is why he doesn't have a job (aside from when he turned down an offer). His baggage, whether you think it should be considered that or not, outweighs his talent.
If Patrick Mahomes kneeled, do you think he'd be out of a job?
I can't argue with anyone about whether they think he's good enough to play in the NFL. I personally don't think he is. But I will say he is better than a lot of QB's that are in the league making a ton of money.

Fair enough. But he still carries that baggage with him nonetheless, baggage that could outweigh other qualifications.
Absolutely.

Absolutely it is. But don't pretend nobody is giving you a shot when you've had offers from an NFL team, and the AAF.
He's not looking "for a shot." He doesn't need game film. NFL teams know what he can do.

Not defending either Washington nor Leavitt, but there is also a difference between the professional expectations of a 50+ year old man vs the emotions and sensibilities of a high school kid.
There is. And I think Leavitt paid his price. He was fired. He didn't coach anywhere for 2 years afterward. And didn't coach in college for 6 years after the incident.

You think Chinander would feel the heat with that hire?
Maybe a little.

This guy doesn't want to play football. Dude's a joke.
The NFL would have raked in way more than that broadcasting the game he played in on their NFL Network. Simply from a spectacle standpoint.

I mean punching a kid that committed to play for him and then going as far as forcing other players and coaches to change their story to help cover it up is ok for you cause it's been 9 years? Got it.
Is there a time frame acceptable to you that allows for second chances? I think almost a decade seems reasonable.

Guy who hates when Nebraska players or coaches gives the program a black eye, wants to hire a coach who literally gave a player a black eye.
I mean, it's been 9 years. He's been controversy free since.
In addition, my issue is with players/coaches doing things against women. I just have a difficult time accepting that more than anything else.

If those 2 officers were successful in getting anyone to buy drugs from them looking like that, they should be given medals.

What about Jim Leavitt from Oregon. He left Oregon today, any chance we could get him here?
This would be a great hire if it were a real possibility.

It is my understanding that Congress can undo a state of emergency with a veto proof resolution. Let’s see how this plays out on the right.
