We schedule our big boy series 8-10 years out. Nothing we can do if the opponent takes a nose dive. True....True....i mean UCLA is known for being a big boy. What about future big boys....UCONN?? Maryland??

Lol...i guess the patriots are going to start putting a couple Big East teams on the schedule just to make ends meat.

That would be no different than teams like Bama and Nebraska playing lower division teams.

We cant all be smart like you and your buds high fiving and strutting around after beating Arky state. Maybe we should join the Sunbelt that way you can strut 10 wins every year.

Anyone getting tired of the chicken noncon schedule every year? We play a lower division team every year which is a joke. Its like putting money in the soda machine expecting a Mr.Pibb and getting a Mr.Fizz. Its even more important now cause we dont get many top notch opponents in conference. As college football fans nothing is better than a good solid matchup with your team involved. Whether they get it or not most fans of other teams like playing a tougher schedule. But husker fans get afraid when mentioning a tough slate and they get defensive. Most husker fans would prefer to strut around and say 5-0 after beating Sam's Club weekend staff 5 times than to be a better team but be 3-2 due to playing good comp. I think that our weaksauce schedule has had some to do with the fact that the last couple years teams with far worse records or ranked lower in their conference has paddled our butts!! 4-1 sounds good but really its not that impressive that we beat lower division Idaho state...Arky state...a very bad Southern Miss team and a really bad Wisconsin team. For me i can handle 8-4 seasons loaded with solid opponents, its the 9-3 or 10-2 seasons where we should be better than everyteam we play that sucks. I hope the new AD gives us a few Pibbs a year cause one fizz is plenty for a proud fearless program.

I've been sipping the koolaid over the week like fine scotch and now think we have a chance. Bo and company will eventually turn the corner and pull a tough one out in a hostile environment. This could be the one. We match up pretty good. D needs to show up. If we win is it "turning the corner" or just us winning a good matchup?? We should win if you go by what husker fans have been saying for the last 10 years. They have a new coach and system...Ohio state has not looked that good to me, Cal should have beat them. We should not have lost 1 game this season with as bad as the big10 is...not if Bo is a top tier coach.

Maybe we should stop the chicken act and play more than 1 team that may or may not be good a year. I dont care for the chicken games and teams in weaker conferences like the big10 should up the SOS. Right now 2 teams are ranked on our schedule...one is Northwestern and the other probably should have lost to the last place Pac12 team. I can do without the Arky states and Idaho states, i mean what UCLA is our BIG TOUGH team this year?? They have sucked for sometime now. I like watching good football games not "filler" between week 2 and the bowl game.
