I've learned this is NOT a pretty Nebraska team but they never give up! People will look at our record (7-2) and think it is status quo but nothing comes easy for this team. Just keep sawing wood boys, no matter how ugly it may be. A win is a win!

Looks to me when Denard went out, we went to more one gap with a lots of blitzing/stunting/twists. Just came from all areas!

Bingo! Bo and his staff control their fate or how their team plays. I think his job is firmly safe now but going forth he needs to clean up the teams miscues and his own. Having KSU so close by allows us to see how things should be done from a discipline perspective. We still remember how Coach Osborne did things as well (well possibly not the younger fans).

We play smart/clean football and we will be tough to beat. Staff experience/cohesion will help also.

Win out and we are likely staring at possible 10-15 ranking for sure.

Just wish Jamone Boyd was in better academic standings. This is a kid that would be a big time DE for us imo. Time will tell I guess?

It is so sweet seeing the kids on D getting their blackshirts after the game! :D Had to be a very good recruiting tool infront of the recruits!

Kind of amazing how this team/Bo looked to be on the ropes after the tOSU game and we just stewed during the bye week. The team has come out and posted back-to-back wins over quality opponents with good to very good defensive production. We are now looking more like the Huskers we invisioned! I'm sure Bo and staff slept with a little smile on their faces tonight.

Of course we can't count our chickens before they hatch but this is a message board. The sound of 11-2 and a Rose Bowl berth sounds more like Nebraska football to me. Sure it wouldn't be the MNC but would still be a great year and a major spring board to next season where the schedule gets easier.

Improving against dual-threat QB's but very good against pocket passers! Offense is inconsistent but has weapons and will be better when Rex gets back. We control our destiny! Go Big Red!!!!
