At this point I've lost my anger about the program. I now just feel sad for the kids out there playing. The talent is there but there is a pervasive paranoia around this program that results in mental frailty in the face of adversity. I had my hopes that time would heal the damage done to this team's psyche but it's apparent now that we are simply chasing our tails season after season, perpetually getting our hopes up about the talent we display early in the season only to have it all blown away in an important, season-defining game. It's disheartening to say the least

Any other college football team would be going to their backup now, but Bo will trot him out there again. We cannot win this game with him at the helm, it's clear now.

With the way this offense has been performing and Bowen has been coaching KU (very well for what he has) I can't imagine KU will even want him

Not a single screen play. No short routes. Just chucking it deep and praying for PI. Receivers can't get any separation except running straight verts (still not often). Running game started strong but (surprise, surprise) they've adjusted and we haven't. Sick of this merry-go-round

The board now vs 20 minutes ago is Jekyll and Hyde. A Nebraska football staple

It's becoming astonishing how predictable we are. One bad thing happens and the whole house of cards collapses. We will be shooting ourselves in the foot for the remainder of the game no doubt it my mind. Meanwhile, teams like Wiscy have 3 (THREE) turnovers in the first quarter and a half yet come back and execute at a high level the net drive. Utterly sickening

....since losing to Wisconsin pretty well ends our chances of the CCG....??? The key being "pretty well ends". If we lose to Wisconsin but they collapse down the stretch and we manage to make it to the CCG, then I'm all good. Unlikely, but still possible. Essentially what I'm saying is CCG or bust

As for the question at hand, I don't think losing to Wisco is an actionable offense in and of itself. Now, if we fail to reach the CCG again this year, I'd vote "get rid of Beck"

I found the article fascinating and, for the most part, spot on. The fact that some people in here want to ban Polo is laughable and pathetic. He has a different opinion than you do and he expresses that opinion. Get over it. That's exactly what these types of media are for.

Yeah, I don't like how he seems to immediately yell at the receiver for every INT. According to Bo both interceptions were in part due to the receivers running the wrong routes. I was pissed at TA during the game but after watching the INTs again, I think Bo was right on both counts. Receiver didn't seem to run the right route

Seems like cross doesn't know the signals from the sideline or something. TA keeps having to signal to him where to set up. Either way, solid drive. Needed that in a bad way
