  1. In addition to demanding an answer from Mills about Martinez's criminal appearance and its apparent irony, I demand to know why you think a 308 makes you more of a man when I can outshoot you at any distance with a $250 243 savage.
  2. That's an interesting forum, there seem to be some enthusiastic and educated fans there. This post in particular, though, is very amateurish. What I mean by that is this poster watched a game three times and pointed out some safety mistakes. Not exactly a brilliant dissection. I'm thinking about creating a user name over there and starting some sh#t. If I name myself "Leghumper" will they let me play? Or is that a Nazi site? I liked the ease with which I could register for this site.
  3. Roland Martin is from Florida. Orlando Wilson is from GA. Get your fishing shows right.. In what way? Can you expand on that comment? I'm not sure what you mean. Really? I thought it was pretty obvious. Not to me. I'm just a dumb southern Georgia hick. Explain it to me like I'm a dumb southern Georgia hick. Explain it to me like I eat squirrel for breakfast without cutting out the shot because I have no teeth to damage. In what way is it ironic that a Georgia fan, or an SEC fan, would accuse your quarterback of looking like a criminal. You said it's obvious. What am I missing? Spell it out for me. I am an uneducated southern hick and I never had a sister to have sex with so I had sex with my wife's sister instead, so it was as close as I can get to being a true uneducated southern hick that doesn't understand what you mean when you say it's obvious why it's ironic that we would say your quarterback looks like a criminal.
  4. Remember, UGA and Nebraska are only ranked 8 spots apart in the BCS. Remember, UGA almost lost to Kentucky. It came down to the last drive. Remember, UGA got blown out by a mediocre South Carolina team. Remember, UGA lost the SEC CG last year, and went on to lose to Michigan State in the Outback bowl. Yes, UGA is playing some really good football right now, but if psyche and attitude were ever going to be a deciding factor in a game, it's this game.
  5. That's something our boards have in common. You should check out the Florida, LSU and South Carolina boards sometime... be glad you don't have to put up with those people pre-bowl game. Throw Limp Bizkit into that equation as well. Goatees, Limp Bizkit, and government assistance rule the lives of all too many SEC fans. But do not lump UGA fans into that category.
  6. That's what South Carolina did.... 35-7 Gamecocks. UGA's offensive line doesn't suck, but they aren't stellar either. If I was a Husker Coach, that's what I'd do. Problem is, UGA isn't going to get pass happy unless you first shut down the run, put UGA in 3rd and long. Then bring the house on Murray. Stopping Gurley and Marshall and getting UGA in 3rd and long, that's the hard part. That's when there's not much coaching you can do, just have to rely on your players' ability, focus, and fundamentals. In other words, how well have they been coached all year, not necessarily how you coach them for this game.
  7. I was wondering what you had typed... I assumed it was bull s h i ... t. The fact it was B******, I agree, poetry, we need that code copied onto the rant.
  8. Martinez's completion percentage is only 62%, that's not very good. He's got almost 1000 yards rushing, but are those mostly scramble plays or do yall actually call alot of qb runs with him? I scrolled through some of the Husker season on espn, didn't see any real breakout rushing games for Martinez, but I didn't box score every single game either. Was there one or two games where he really broke out a bunch of yards to pad that ~1000 yard stat? Abdullah.. he's only 5-9 185 pounds. Fast he is, but undersized for the kind of pounding and tackle breaking it is going to take against a solid SEC defense. He's fast, but all of UGA's linebackers are 4.4 class beasts. Secondly, his average against AP25 this year is only 4.2 ypc (respectable) for a whopping total of 129 yards. Wisky, Iowa, and Penn State all held him to under 3.7 ypc this year. Your offensive line is very good, with an All American ... a player (what's his name again?) like that on the line makes everyone better, based on what I have seen from various AA's that have come and gone from UGA's OL and DL over the years. Look at what Alabama did to UGA with a fundamentally sound, disciplined offensive line. They had 350 yards rushing, or some such. If the Huskers can get just 200, you'll be in this game, offensively. However, your guys really are pretty undersized against UGA's DL, who has been playing against SEC big-boy OL's all season. Maybe use some cut blocking and speed? GA Tech and GA Southern tried it this year, it didn't work because of UGA's linebacker speed and aggression, but maybe it will work for you. It looks like the only games you didn't score at least 28 points were 2 games, both of which you still won. I am looking forward to this game. I think it will be a dandy.
  9. You should be proud of yourself. All huskers need to be like you. Support your team, talk some smack... it's the whole point of being a fan. If you lose, you just walk away after a "Good Game" post. If you win, you feel validated. When you come out of the gate moping and pissing and moaning about your team, what's the point of being a fan? Why watch the game? Why take time out of your busy day to come online to your fansite, if you just think your team sucks and has no chance? I like you hskerprid. You are a good fan.
  10. We've got plenty. You're more than welcome to borrow one of ours. That's the beautiful thing about the SEC, every league game has the opportunity to wreck your season. Vandy's up, and on UGA's radar thanks to their punk-ass coach getting into a screaming match with our DC- Grantham after the 2011 game. James Franklin had a dozen HS recruits in the stands and wanted to be the big shot. We pretty much silenced them in Athens, this year. I think we held them to a FG. Tennessee has, historically, been a regular rival. They keep shooting themselves in the foot with their coaching carousel, though. Don't get me wrong, Dooley wasn't the answer in light of the dumpster fire Lane Kiffin left ablaze, but to be honest they never should have fired Fulmer. They set their program back at least another 5 years by ashcanning Dooley. Their solution is to bring in the one FBS coach that Derek Dooley beat this year? Squirrel, please. South Carolina has been our boogeyman for the last three years. They weren't even in the picture till Spurrier came on board there. It has nothing to do with SC and everything to do with HBC's (Head Ball Coach) past at Florida. We'll hate Ohio State for the same reason. Well, that and they're Ohio State. The series with Auburn is the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry, but I think they'll be back before Tennessee will. It'll be interesting to see how much of the 2010 MNC magic was Malzahn and what part of that was Chizik. Given that Chizik was a losing coach before they brought him in, and Cam/Fairley were his saving grace that year, my money's on Malzahn. The big determining factor will be how much of this incoming recruiting class they can salvage. They've got a Top 5 class, as I type this, but they're hemorrhaging players. Alabama wasn't ever an issue till the 2008 B******, and obviously this year's SECCG. Still hurts to think about how close we were, but to spike or not to spike, we gave up 350 yards on the ground when the defense returned 10 of 11 starters. There's your real storyline. To come within 5 yards or 10 sec of a National Title berth in spite of it is what makes it really sting. We don't play them every year, but it seems to be memorable when we do. And then there's Florida. True, deep-seated hatred in that stadium in Jacksonville, every year. Winning two in a row against them for the first time since the 80's was nice. It's beautiful to think that we're in Muschamp's head now. As a player and a coach, I think the stat is that he's 0-6 in the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party, (0-4 as a player at UGA and 0-2 as UF's coach). Add that Ga Tech can win every 15th appearance of Brigadoon, and you have half of your regular season schedule with fierce rivalries at your door. It puts UGA in an interesting position as the season goes along. Barring anything lopsided like Auburn's wholesale collapse, it's an any given Saturday proposition. Well said. That's what no one here seems to understand. We pretty much hate everyone else. I think it's a requirement to be in the SEC. I don't mean anything personal by screwing with you guys, it's just the nature of the beast. Everyone hates everyone else in the SEC and then we collectively turn and really hate everybody's OOC opponents. Kinda like a "We can pick on each other, but damn if anybody else is going to" type thing. All the mean sh#t I say is really just my way of saying good luck. I somewhat agree with this. I would say that it should be considered an honor to have UGA fans come onto your board to heckle you. The last time we were excited about a bowl game was the Sugar when we played a highly ranked Hawaii with a thug meth-junkie qb... the Rainbow Warriors, worshipping their Volcano Gods, etc. What was that, 2008? 2009? Doesn't matter. If any of you Corn Cobs get bent out of shape by us heckling you, just turn that frown... well... well you turn it upside down!
  11. Roland Martin is from Florida. Orlando Wilson is from GA. Get your fishing shows right.. In what way? Can you expand on that comment? I'm not sure what you mean.
  12. I met that guy at the Ole Miss game this year. He's actually pretty cool.
  13. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.
  14. Also, feel free to chop block. If your coach has any sense, he'll watch tape from the Ga Tech game, they run the triple option, cut blocks, but also chop blocks while the player is engaged up top, but refs never call it. With a qb of the caliber the Huskers have, get your AA in the tape room and teach him to knock down some 360# dudes at the knee while tattoo-boy runs like the wind into the secondary. Yes yes?
  15. Another pro-tip for husker staff... very few holding penalties get called against UGA's opponents, because the refs are looking for defensive fouls with the beasts that are usually borderline fouling on every play with pure aggression. Feel free to hold. They say there's holding on every play. Why Alabama got called for zero holds is evidence. Coach your OL and All American to hold baby hold. If it gets called, lay off for a play or two, then start holding again.
  16. We run a 2-3-2-6, with a flux capacitor scheme, We blitz on 1st and 3rd downs but only if the yards to gain are even. We run a 4 gap, 6 deep with 3 spy's. Our lineman average 105lbs, and our secondary are all over 300lbs... I loled.
  17. I see Chucktown Husker is reading. I used to live in the Old Village. I have many gamecock friends in the area.
  18. The good news is that UGA's offensive line sucks. UGA offensive line vs Nebraska defensive line is probably a wash. Do what South Carolina did. Get aggressive and rush linebackers. So what if you leave a hole in the middle. Murray doesn't complete passes when he's about to get creamed. He has trouble just getting out of the pocket to throw it away. He tends to just collapse and say "Aw Shucks!" Speaking of UGA's OC, Mike Bobo, many many UGA fans have wanted him fired for years. He shows signs of brilliance, but he also has the Bobo ability to call a draw on 3rd and 12. Many UGA games have been "Bobo'd".
  19. That guy holding the ball looks like a criminal. Is he your quarterback?
  20. There's an All-American in there. Tell me about D-Line.
  21. We Bulldog fans over at our site (dawgrant) have noticed that you are down on your team. Do you realize that UGA went to the SEC championship game last year, lost, and then went on to lose against Mich State in the Outback? Aaron Murray was still the quarterback with over 3000 yards, and we had the same "NFL" defense, most of whom stayed for this year, but it was basically the same guys. You do realize that Georgia has lost its last two bowl games, right? Your players are big and fast and talented and mean, right? What do you have, 2 losses, 3? Georgia lost, nay, got blown out by a mediocre South Carolina team this year, 35-7. Yall are ranked right around South Carolina right now, aren't you? Stop all of this pissing and moaning and whining and crying- "Woe is me, we have to play a competitive game, waaa.... sniffle sniff sniff... waaaaah." Grow a pair, act like men. Let's get started. Give me some chalkboard talk. What's your offensive line? Names, weights, height, class. Who's your defensive line? Yall play a 4-4?, what is your scheme? Who are your linebackers? Who is mike and who is ted? Or do yall do the Alabama thing and make up positions? Talk to me, you bucktoothed corn cobs.
