No, we did not make a bet on the election.

It is not just my circle of friends...It is all of our circles and now even "old" people are not going to vote for Trump.

I THINK I know people voting for Trump. Some are old, like my in-laws. The problem is they won't say it or talk politics, anymore, so I am uncertain. I suspect Trump voters, at least in my circles, are keeping quiet. I also know people that want a new R candidate that will vote against Trump in the primaries, but if Trump is the R nominee, they will vote for him over Biden.

What a load of BS.  For some reason, the NCAA has it out for FSU this year.

So, the transfer player went on a visit where this happened, then didn't transfer, stayed with his current team then went to the NCAA and told them everything that happened on the visit?  Give me a break.  I'd be interested in knowing where the transfer is from.

NCAA does stupid crap. Hopefully Div1 breaks away.

That is a bold move posting that picture on a Husker message board. I mean, a shared NC is great and all, but it means a lot less when Michigan was the second-best team that year.

Lol. I know. I figure it will get removed. I only put it there because you left off the split championship for upvotes. I saw the banter on the "Michigan Game what did we learn" thread was all about how Nebraska would have kicked Michigan's butt in 97.  I wish the right teams could have played back then. At least Scott Frost got a few shots to try and beat Michigan as a coach.

  4. Yeah, why can't we turn off the spigot until the water drains a bit? Our government does not care or we do not have the ability.

"New York State Assemblywoman Jaime Williams urged Biden to close the southern border after her daughter’s school went remote to accommodate nearly 2,000 asylum seekers."

Yes...the connections made at that place are what makes it worth it.

It is sort of like a Fraternity for sure. I don't think I would pay for my kids to go there if they got in. They would be welcome to figure it out for themselves.

Depends on what degree you are getting.

Yeah. Is a degree in philosophy or counseling from there, worth the debt.

Yeah that's what I assumed.  Your rage isn't because you're willing to let the process play out through the courts.

    You misinterpret rage I think. I don't rage. I get even. ;)

Edit: Who brought the lawsuit doesn't change my opinion on the ruling. Maine had one election official knock Trump off the ballot. That state has split electoral votes of which Trump received one in 2020. I don't vote in Maine, so there is nothing I can about that.

Something doesn't add up.  You're already willing to toss the Constitution so you can vote against an insurrectionist?  Make it make sense.

Btw you do know the litigants in Colorado were four Republicans and two unaffiliated voters right?

Toss the US constitution? You assume the 4 state judges are right or just your opinion because of TDS?  3 of the judges disagreed. Let's wait and see how the SCOTUS rules.....if they even do. I hope they do. I think it's important.

And no, I didn't realize four Republicans and two unaffiliated voters brought the suite, so my apologies to the Dems.

This also answers my question to @Moiraine

people have been removed from ballots before while not having been convicted

Based on past disqualifications under the 14th amendment, that fact has little bearing on the Disqualification Clause. Of the eight people who have been disqualified under this part of the Constitution, at least five were not convicted of any crime.

Interesting. I didn't quite find what the other 8 situations were in the article. I may have skimmed over it to quickly. I still think this is political. Dems are worried he is going win. They are throwing darts at a wall and hoping one sticks. How many of the folks that stormed the capital were convicted of insurrection? Half dozen maybe. I haven't kept track.

What did the 4 judges do that you think they shouldn’t have? They didn’t create the lawsuit that came before them. Do you think the argument that Trump engaged in insurrection isn’t strong enough for the decision they made?

I think I answered this in another post. It seems like the DOJ should have convicted Trump of insurrection first, no?

I'm pretty sure hacking into any computer system without authorization is illegal....and not just with the NCAA.

I'm fine if both Michigan and OSU are taken down because of this.

Illegal with real authorities...it might not be written into the NCAA rules. :sarcasm
