Yeah. Everybody is just guessing what is happening. Trev has done a good job of keeping it tight lipped. Will be interesting to see who it does end up being

Really hope it's a big name out of left field. He does seem to know what he's doing which makes these leaks seem off.

  2. Can we all agree this is not an overwhelmingly attractive cycle of coaches?

Any coach you hire that is not Mickey would need 4 years to get things on track. Mickey could reasonably be gone in 2 if it doesn't work out. Wait for more coaches to develop or shake loose over the next two years, the conference likely strengthens even more, the new facility is open. And we would not be debating taking guys from Kansas, Kentucky, and Army.

  3. I'm not sure if Husker Nation will be prepared for how bad the team will be Rhule's first year. He's a builder. And from the lines out. They will play hard but they will most likely win 4 total games. With how this season is going. That would be tough

Funny how Callahan can get a tip that Mickey's representation has reached out to ASU, but he can't get any news about what coach's agents have reached out to NU.

This media, man. Mitch was on the radio and you could just tell how he was watching what he was saying as not to offend anyone. All college sports journalists are not like this

The SEC West is no cakewalk... not to mention the MS salary cap, family ties to Nebraska, our resources/$ for coordinators/fan support/NIL

Kiffin is not the type to run. He's 8-1. They have a shot to seriously beat Bama next time up.

Ole Miss is a better job than Nebraska

  6. You really think Kiffin is complaining in public for anything other than a raise, to get more resources, and to stand up for his players? He's politicking. Ole Miss had NIL before it even legally existed.

Tear this thing down, people. What are you trying to save?

Roll the dice on Deion or Jamey Chadwell. I loved Matt Campbell in the beginning but this is bad, folks. Really bad. Need someone to grow with this dead program.

Good interview. He's doing a lot of good things...

Someone will hire him this off-season.

They will then get likely their best recruiting class in years.

They will go into next season a story every week they play

It's unclear if NU has the guts to be that place or if he will win. But it's hard to believe he will not leave the place better than when we comes.

I don’t get the fascination with Rhule. I know he did good things at Baylor and another stop but those were only one or two year stops that isn’t enough for me to say he’s the guy. Sounds like a jumper to me once things get hard for him he folds like a deck of cards

I mean absolutely no disrespect, but I think you may be confused on who Matt Rhule is.

He took a program that was so bad and poorly run that it was kicked into the independents and highly recommended to fold to 10 wins, a conference title, and then left the cupboard stocked for another title game while getting two zero star players' names called on the first day of the draft.

He then went to Waco with sanctions coming out of his ears and less scholarship players than he has seats in his car and got them ranked, once again leaving the culture stocked with more players for Aranda.

He also vowed to never recruit the player factories like IMG while in Texas. Making this Yankee one of the most popular coaches in the state.

    He's good. Really good

  9. It's understandable that most in NE don't really know much about Rhule, but he's one of the best developers of talent in recent memory.

He's an incredible coach and will get another shot at a really great job. Auburn seems like it would be a good fit.
