  1. hello, it is too bad about brooks not coming, because if brooks is not coming for the spring game than neither is his irving teammate, harris - yet, there is still a chance that he & harris may come for NU's summer camp - since, NU is still the only school to offer harris - at least, for now
  2. hello, ia hit a 3 run hr to tie the game at 14 w/ 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th... so, this game is going into extra innings!
  3. hello, michael keck, 6'5", 220, 4.6, de/lb from mo, w/ a NU schollie may/should be coming: http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=8&c=1&nid=2280800 http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&c=518...2%2f518664.html p.s. if aaron allen does come to the spring game it will not be hard to miss him at 6'8", 315
  4. hello, that is great news that NU grapped another tx walk-on - who will hopefully contribute as mulkey has after walking on at NU from tx, but his quote has thrown me a little, in which he stated that 9 of 11 off. starters in the alamo bowl were walk ons: to my knowledge I believe koch & slauson were the only 2 former walk on candidates to start, & kelly & mulkey the only other walk-ons to play offensively - right?
  5. hello, I believe that press tayor possible decision go to butler cc is a good decision by him, since he was getting about the same level of interest that his brother was receiving when he was a hs senior - NU & everyone else will have to watch, wait & see if he develops at butler similar to how his brother developed p.s. NU has gotten another in-stater to walk-on, te, dreu young from cozad: http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&c=496...2%2f496420.html 2nd p.s. & perhaps another preferred walkon from mn, ath, xavier rucker: http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&c=496449 3rd p.s. bayer & pflueger should be close to deciding if they will walk-on, also
  6. hello, other preferred walk-ons: bullock has decided to play basketball at the next level (according to rivals) bayer did not accept a partial schollie to oh pflueger did not accept a schollie to n co therefore, bayer & pflueger are likely to walk-on at NU p.s. press taylor has yet to sign a letter of intent (could he be thinking of walking on at NU?)
  7. hello, in my opinion ashley palmer is the most confused recruit I can even remember being recruit by NU, since he visited 4 schools - 2 of which he gave soft verbals to - ms & or, & then gave a solid verbal to NU, & signed a letter of intent, & then signed another to wa - who would round out as being the 4 school involved in his recruitment - all visits, & committments to all, & this is how his recruitment has rounded out - what a path of confusion that is going to go on for a while, now. ashley = a very confused 20 year old
  8. hello, here is some sour grapes, & my next prediction is: he probably will not pass his sat/act anyway, therefore neither lsu nor NU will be getting his services anyway, right?
  9. "I don’t know if that battle is over with yet, we’ll see,” Callahan said. “It will be an interesting scenario as it plays out, but we would certainly love to have him here at Nebraska and we’re doing everything possible to make him a part of this class.” from scout (02/01/06) http://nebraska.scout.com/2/496018.html p.s. you go cally
  10. hello, here is some more palmer info from scout, & cally's comments on the dilemma: http://nebraska.scout.com/2/496018.html
  11. hello, here is an article that reads that scout in the long run is the top in & of recruiting accuracy: http://www.al.com/sports/birminghamnews/in...0680.xml&coll=2
  12. hello, NU now has 4 preferred walk-ons w/ the addition of a lawson, rb/lb, 4.60 40x, lin n star, & brother of t lawson http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewp...sp?pr_key=35991
  13. hello & sorry about your prediction washusker, because mitch sherman has reported on the air that deas (through his hs coach) has eliminated fsu & au, & it is b/w lsu & NU! p.s. so stay tuned, because there is more to come
  14. hello, here are 3 reasons why deas should come to NU: 1 NU offers immediate playing time (he could push cryer for playing time) 2 lsu has a verbal from al woods ***** - maybe the top hs dt in the country - plus, lsu has 25 verbals, now, w/ the possibility of 3 additional verbal/signies, tomorrow 3 au has 6 dt's listed on rivals w/ smith *****, ricks ****, isom (may play ot) ***, eddins ****, clayton **, blanc *** p.s. this is why I feel that deas is N, especially w/ his like & respect for blake
  15. hello, NU could not get mohr to walk-on at te, but they may get dreu young, a te prospect, from cozad to walk-on: http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&c=495...2%2f495253.html
  16. deas is going to announce his intentions at (or around) 9am tomorrow morning! p.s. NU over okst (in stillwater) - wow!
  17. hello, hi says that no one knows what he is going to do, & he is down to chosing b/w au, lsu, & NU! p.s. we may all find out more tomorrow (I say he will be NU's 24th verbal)
  18. hello, NU has added its 3 preferred walk-on w/ bart harm (you have got to love the name): http://nebraska.rivals.com/viewprospect.as...=1&pr_key=36660 http://nebraska.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=507821
  19. hello, according to a little birdie I am told that deas could be/should be making his announcement of which school he will chose on wednesday p.s. I have $ riding on NU!
  20. hello, well so far NU has gotten 2 (henery & macovicka), & lost 2 preferred walkons (mohr & bunner) http://nebraska.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=507442 p.s. it is too bad, because bunner did very well, & really surprised the NU coaches during this yrs summer camp, but in the end solich was the one holding the schollie for bunner, who wanted to play D1 football very bad - whether it was w/ a schollie to oh, or walking on at NU
  21. hello, this is a bit of a shocker, because out of all the likely, preferred walk-ons he seemed to be the one that was most likely to become a walk-on at NU (especially w/ their slight need for te's), because of his love & dream of playing for NU (which I read of earlier this fall), but I guess that maybe a college that will pay for an education might be better, & more realisitic (especially w/ a long term goal) than simply following a dream: http://nebraska.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=506551
  22. hello, it looks like it is all over for NU's recruitment of lee, who just committed, according to rivals, to orst: http://nebraska.rivals.com/viewprospect.as...sp?pr_key=46012 p.s. NU was not in the hunt for very long for lee, were they? - well, there is still deas, who is the 79th rated overall prospect in the nation, so let's go huskers, & get the dt they have all along most want: http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewr...006&ra_key=1162
  23. hello, only 6 days until signing day, feb 1st - & here are my predictions = mouton + mich, & davis + ncst, & lee + orst, & mitchell + lsu, & green + usc, & NU will grap 2 more committments - one of them being deas, & the other will be a late switch of schools - clayborn (williams has been working on him, so there is still hope, right?) what say you?
  24. hello, nameless was right about him committing to az, & well, the only thing that NU can say is at least he visited: http://nebraska.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=506200 I just wish that NU had more of a chance w/ him, but he was just to unwilling to leave too far from home
  25. hello, I know that no one will be surprised by this statement, but according to rivals mouton has official eliminated NU from his list, along w/ lsu - his top 3 are tx, usc, & mi: http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/conte....asp?CID=505960
