  1. But over on allbuffs.com they are saying how they are going to destroy Texas. HMMMMMMM.....typical CU fans, all talk and no real support for their team. Shoulder to Shoulder.....or is that Wiener to Wiener
  2. I don't like to put too much stock in Recruiting class rankings. There is soooo much parity in CF now that who knows. What NE needs is a play maker....someone that can make everyone around them better. We don't have that quite yet. I think that Lucky could be that kind of guy....and maybe even Swift.
  3. I hate to say it, but I agree. If he was making any progress at all, they would have said something. They haven't even mentioned him redshirting, so that makes things seem bad. I wish him all the Big Red luck in the world to make it back out on to the field. Go out fighting
  4. Hey ChuckD My sister and Bro-in law live in Hastings. They were both Broncos in their day. In fact my BIL's mom and dad teach at Hastings college. I grew up an hour south of you in Superior. It is funny how you mention what you are famous for. Not that I am famous, but Marc Boreigter of the K.C. Chiefs was second string to my BIL when he played for the Broncos. I can't tell you how much time I spent in Hastings as a teenager. It was the only place close with anything to do....GI was better though. I still remeber playing Adam Central in football...they were huge compared to us, but we got our licks in. You going to the game on saturday?
  5. I would say let Taylor play next year and get in some reps with Beck. Redshirting him this year could be a good thing for us down the road.
  6. My neighbor who just moved from California is a Husker fan, and another friend of mine from Cali who lives in Blanchard is a Husker fan. I am beginning to think that Blanchard, OK will now be known as Little Nebraska. I am glad I built my house in Little Nebraska
  7. Hey All, I have been reading the boards for about a month now, and have liked the great posts and intelligent discussions. A little background. Grew up in Superior, NE. All of my relatives are from Broken Bow. Been a part of the Husker nation since I can remember. I live in the Oklahoma City area, and have been enjoying the twisted faces that I get to see every Monday morning after a Sooner Loss. Don't get me wrong, I like the Sooners and respect the program. I just like everyone to get a taste of what happened to us last year. I am fortunate enough to get to attend the game this Saturday. I hope to see Marlon Lucky run the ball, Taylor stand tough in the pocket, and Carriker making some vicious sacks.
