  1. Yeah, that whole Jack Hoffman thing, UCLA player tribute, and Penn State prayer...they just made us look horrible, didn't they? "I came here to win a national championship and win (presumably conference) championships." That quote sound familiar? While all the stuff you listed surely just warms your little Husker heart on a cold autumn day, they have nothing to do with whether the current head coach should get a seventh year to prove he's incapable of losing less than four games a season and accepting any personal responsibility for his own failure to do so. Intramurals are on the left, brother Are you even a fan or are you just here to stir sh#t up? I'm a fan of the program, just not the direction it's headed in or the guy in charge. I fail to understand how both those concepts existing simultaneously causes such cognitive dissonance for most NU fans, although I hardly find it surprising anymore.

  3. I'm also 100% confident that he completely believed Gene Smith and E. Gordon Gee were waiting down the hall with a contract already in-hand after the 2011 tOSU game and were just waiting for him to wrap up taping his post-game show to take him on a private plane to Columbus. Guy just has that special combination of meglomania, complete and total lack of self-awareness, and stupid to swallow that type of pie-in-the-sky hook, line, and sinker. Whatever dude. You should just get to steppin' right now, mr. insightful. Oooh, the "If you don't like Pelini, you're a bad fan!" meme. That took long. Look, bro, I get it it, when Pelini inevitably gets fired, not only because the guy is raging jackass, but also because his performance in his position has been the definition of mediocre, it's really gonna hurt you. Those "BOKNOWS" vanity plates you managed to score are gonna look ridiculous. That signed Pelini lithograph you're wife bought you for Xmas back in 2010 is just gonna be sad reminder of all those B1G titles and MNCs that could've been had all those pesky NU fans just been patient and given the Pelini the decades he needs to finally get over the hump of tackling Goliaths like Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan State. Thoughts and prayers for you, man. i didnt even read this. All I have to say is you can say what you want to say without being a disrespectful little tool. You jonied here TODAY. sh#t like your total asshattery commentary dont fly here. I've seen your work before...good stuff.

  6. The really sad thing is that obviously those ploys by his agent worked to the pont where he's now nearly earning $3MM/year and hasn't managed to exceed even the middling accomplishments he pulled off when he had Callahan's (read: way more talented) recruits. Some of those school names that have been rumored are just laughable. Miami? When they were staring down the NCAA barrel? People really think someone would wanna jump into that? Okay. The Pedo State one is even more laughable. I know this heresy around these parts, but I think his boss may have wanted to slow down on the Kool-Aid there.
  7. LMAO at anyone who would post this. You're right, upon further reflection, I have no doubt that neither Indiana (they already have a better HC than Pelini, anyway) or KU (doubt their interested in any more so-called "Nebraska guys" after the dumpster fire that was the Turner Gill Era) would go anywhere near Pelini, either.
  8. I'm not saying now, but say 2 or 3 years from now and he wins a couple B1G champs, I guarantee you he would have other opportunities! People have short memories when it comes to winning, and it would be framed as look how much he has grown and matured as a head coach. ...and if my aunt grew a penis, she'd be my uncle.
  9. LMAO at anyone who thinks any BCS AQ school (aside from Kansas, Indiana, or a school from the AAC) would touch Pelini with a 100' pole. Lots of ADs out there working overtime to land walking P.R. disasters who can't lose fewer than four games per year.
  10. Feel free to inform me if I'm misinformed, but the only two major scenarios I can remember with Osborne were the Lawrence Phillips saga and the rape case. In the case of Phillips, he hadn't actually done anything illegal at the time yet, had he? And Osborne and the staff set forth standards that he would have to meet to get back to good standing on the team, and he met them. Probably misguided, in hindsight, but Tom Osborne has consistent enough testimony from so many people that it's easy to trust he was making that decision with LP's best interests at heart. Osborne himself has acknowledged not handling the rape case in the best way and has reconciled and apologized with the woman and even invited her back to speak to the team a few times. I know we haven't been squeaky clean - but I also am able to rest my head knowing that Osborne's decisions were made, according to what he thought, in the best interests of the players, mistakes though they may have been. I decline to make character assassinations against Saban or Fisher or whoever, but the consistent witness speaks very, very poorly on their part. Bearing bad fruit, so to speak. Tyrone Williams' gat says, "Hello."
  11. No, I don't like losing. But it happens....to every team. And yes, some things need to be fixed. I've already said that. And no, I don't think getting rid of Bo is the answer. And all you have done since you've made your comeback this week is bitch about Bo. How can you deny that? Oh I obviously dislike Mr. Spaghetti on several different levels. Recruiting, Off the field antics regarding his temper, coaching, looking for other jobs etc etc etc. Why is it so terrible to voice my displeasure with Mr. Spaghetti when the program I love is being held back by him? He told you already what he thinks of all of us and it can only be said in the woodshed here. I am just looking forward to moving on from all of this after the Iowa game. Recruiting is so bad that we have a defense full of young kids that played every bit as good as the Michigan State defense did on Saturday. We also have a coach who is so unapproachable off the field that he let a little cancer patient who can never actually play football run a play in the spring game. There has been one job that Bo even considered. tOSU. Just wondering, with everybody being so sensitive an weird about racism, is the spaghetti comment aimed to be prejudicial to Pelini being Italian? I also once considered banging Kate Upton. Just saying.

  13. You forgot "or go to the NFL, fail, then come back. You're right. I left that out because I figured we were discussing college specifically. i thought you were discussing Saban and Meyer specifically. Heh. Urban Meyer coached in the NFL?! When did that happen?
