Terrible fundamentals, can't even get the play relayed in on time. Oh how we have fallen...
-
Our oline is just getting its lunch handed to them
-
I wonder if we will get shutout this half...that would be embarrassing
-
TD of a good ball is thrown
-
Good return on a positive note...have good field position for once
-
He needs to learn sometimes you have to just take a sack and play to live another day
-
Shoot ourselves in the foot

Wilbon is making guys miss left and right....oline leaves guys completely unblocked

Take DPE out as punt returner

Even Miles is commenting about how we can't toughen up and get two yards on a short down

Langsdorf gets way too cute way too often

When you try to have linebackers cover receivers, it makes it seem worse than it is.
That might be but when you see Kalu (arguably our best DB) get beat bad on wheel route, it's hard to take.

Our team's overall speed v. Oregon's speed

Has me at "can't believe we regressed under banker" I agree happy we tried something new but "really how new is it becomes the question"

First, credit goes to Oregon coaches and players who beat us.
Second, credit goes to all the NU players who put up a great game for all of us to enjoy!

Still waiting on how a "sequential mess" is an excuse when you 6 days to game plan for the offense that creates such mess...I mean I like the guy but come on that only falls on one person...

To me, the worst thing is that Diaco had 6 days to prepare for his defensive plan for the first half. Obviously, I'm not too impressed. With that said, glad we could make some adjustments and make it a fight in the second half. But, great coaches don't wait until the second half to make adjustments...they beat you from the "get go" each week.

That's not the point. People were annointing him as a savior before he ever took a snap, all based on media hype. But when 1 person who had seen him play 5+ times in game situations tried to tell them to pump the brakes a little, they didn't want to hear it... likely the same ones who are now bitching about his performance.
So what's your point...that you were right and people shouldn't expect much. Everyone should have been more pessimistic and realistic about his abilities. That may be true. Even if that is your point, thanks for pointing it out AFTER that game....you are very smart

I tried to tell people before the season that Tanner Lee was overrated, and simply the lesser of two evils between him and POB. Nobody wanted to listen, and now they're finding out the hard way.
Want a cookie? I was critical of Lee today, but we had to literally pick someone to be our starting QB. No free agent signing in college football.

Lee locks into the receiver that he wants to throw to a lot pre-snap or throws to his first read...most of the time that is Stanley. Stanley played good, but it's not only on the other WRs but also on Lee to spread the ball around depending on the play (i.e. his second/third/fourth read)

Seems as if they've been playing "not to lose" for awhile and we have been playing "to win" ... gives us a better chance ...still first half was dog poo
