Yeah but the problem is they are still playing tuna cans.
Very true

This announcer is very very insightful. Did you know that if rutgers converts on 3rd down they would keep the ball.
Agreed, this guy says the dumbest stuff.
-
Our players have a little more fight today than I've seen in the previous 3 games.
-
Spielman is one slippery guy!
-
That was Cutler-esque interception there....off the back foot
-
I think DPE just guesses when to field or not field a punt
-
Our DBs play way too far off the receivers
-
D is so much better when we blitz compared to when we only bring 3. Way too much time for QB when only bring 3
-
UCF's D is flying around and is aggressive ...that is nice to see

Lol. You're the one that started it. I'm not offended.
Lol no. I called your post morbid and you responded so you were offended by my response to your post. Calling your post "morbid" is not offensive to me. So you were offended and responded. If not, you wouldn't respond. Either way, no need to detract from the thread....you go your way and I will go my way

The dude was taking about throwing kids out a window, pretty sure that insinuates sarcasm.
Good point ...there is really no need to argue about this...sorry if I offended you in some way

You serious, Francis?
Name is not Francis... but yes unless that was some sort of sarcasm you are supposed to pick up through an internet post...if so, feel free to mark it as such

Way to take fun-natured post into morbid territory. Way too morbid for this board

C'mon folks, the Program is now a full-blown dumpster-fire of a train-wreck. From inept regents, administration, and AD to entitlement-minded fans and back-stabbing sports writers NOBODY worth his salt will touch this cancerous toad of a Program - doesn't matter what the salary is. Heck, this Program was on life-support after Solich, Callahan, and then when Bo was wrongly fired and Riley took over...there was no margin for error with the Riley hire.
It's over, folks.
All is dark...feel free to quit posting...no one will miss you

Man, talk about a trolling job.

You are living in fantasyland. He has a .74 winning percentage and that is almost completely in the SEC and Big10.
Not the 0.54 winning percentage that Mike Riley has in college in the fairly lame Pac12. Even Miles at his worst would be better than Riley at his best. But feel free to believe things that are completely belied by the facts and numbers... the rest of us will just go on the data thanks.... or at least I will.
Plus, if you listened to the game, he would run on 3rd and 2....that's automatically a step up to me

Chip Kelly is a fluke. He had Nike money. Nike money can recruit some of the best, just ask Altman!
Bieliema can win in the Big 10. He has a proven track record in the Big 10
Venables is a great name, but he hasn't proven really anything other than coaching defenses at schools with a great recruiting Head coaches.
You can pick apart any name that gets thrown out. Really, unless your Urban Meyer, Nick Saban or Dabo Swinney you have some flaws right now.
Yes, any person thrown out may have their flaws. What we need to do is a cost/benefit analysis to decide whether their perceived flaws are worse/better than our current head coach's flaws.

I'm not in the Frost train either. How about we actually do our due diligence and hire the best coach according to resume and interview skills. Too many times our AD has already had "someone in mind" instead of actually hiring the best person for the job.
-
I'm all for getting rid of Riley but Kelly is not the answer...please just stop

I feel sad for the Riley lovers...This must hurt even more. You invested a lot and tricked your heart...just like Beaver fans did for years. How lame is it that Riley might actually "retire" with a better winning % at OSU than NU.
Don't feel too bad. They were the first to say the "whiners" weren't true fans and we should all fall in line. Opposing opinions aren't welcomed. You know the whole saying about "those that cast the first stone..."

Already knew that Langsdorf sucked as an OC, but this game reiterated that thought and solidified it...also learned Lee is one of the most over-hyped QBs to start at Nebraska (no help of his OC)

No to Diaco...his D was fine today and I don't think he's the worst D coach ever (see Banker) but give me a guy that is aggressive on D. A guy that blitzes and mans up often. You may give up a big play here and there, but I'd take that over being passive and letting the other team set the tone. Set your own tone for goodness sakes.

For the love of the big guy upstairs, I hope not! Sad to see us become the bottom-dwellers of B10 when other teams (Indiana, Purdue - who used to be bottomdwellers) are on the rise.

Your first sentence is quite the hypothetical.
