  1. Keep those votes coming! We are only 32 votes ahead and the VCU fans are making a run at it. Here is that link again. http://sportzedge.com/2014/09/18/coolest-ncaa-logos-tournament-3-vcu-vs-10-mcneese-state/ My office computer let me vote again today so everyone vote with all your devices again today and tell your friends!
  2. It's hit and miss on how many times you can vote. It's just best to hit it up every now and then. We really appreciate the help. We love Husker Fans down in La. Here is that link again. http://sportzedge.com/2014/09/18/coolest-ncaa-logos-tournament-3-vcu-vs-10-mcneese-state/
  3. Thanks for the help guys. Cowboy fans appreciate all the class you guys have shown. Looks like VCU is catching up again so if you have friends or another device please vote again or tell a friend. Good luck with the rest of your season. Glad you beat the Hurricane/thugs.
  4. I don't think McNeese St or NDSU would have a problem beating FAU, LOL Schools like FAU won't schedule McNeese for a damn good reason... McNeese is 4-0 vs Sun Belt Teams. UL-Lafayette has scheduled us for the 2016 season. If they don't cancel, I suspect we kick their ass by 3 touch downs just like last time we played them. Anyway, I'm signing off now guys. Enjoyed the chats. Good luck for the rest of the year. Your fans treated us with a lot of class. Thanks!
  5. Well hell I'm disappointed but still enjoyed the game. Your fans have so much class with the applause at the end of the game. Now go win the rest of your games. p.s. Last time we played you. You were our only loss of the regular season. Let's hope it can happen again. Good luck guys...
  6. So you're saying John McNeese was a quitter. Nope I'm saying he was a Cowboy that ended up in Southwest La. Which is a hell of a lot nicer than New Orleans. I can't blame him for staying.
  7. I watched them crush USF last year. It wasn't pretty. I watched them crush USF last year. It wasn't pretty. LOL Personally I thought it was a beautiful thing... Here are some highlights: https://video.search.yahoo.com/video/play;_ylt=AwrBT4fMIAZU5s0A_MxXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTBsa3ZzMnBvBHNlYwNzYwRjb2xvA2JmMQR2dGlkAw--?p=mcneese+south+florida+utube&tnr=21&vid=405A3621AA1EA8F952CC405A3621AA1EA8F952CC&l=518&turl=http%3A%2F%2Fts2.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DUN.608026692031548357%26pid%3D15.1&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D2ykGNcYIfCM&sigr=11a4hb8oq&tt=b&tit=Football%3A+McNeese+State+53%2C+USF+21+%28Highlights%29&sigt=11f0ukq5c&back=https%3A%2F%2Fsearch.yahoo.com%2Fsearch%3Fei%3DUTF-8%26p%3Dmcneese%2Bsouth%2Bflorida%2Butube%26fr%3Dyfp-t-901%26fp%3D1&sigb=12oj6gff0
  8. Truth is guys, We don't really know what to expect. Head Coach likes to keep our QB's out of their comfort zone in practice so that they improve on those things. Its really hard to say what kind of an offence we will see on Saturday. I suspect a 2 QB system is probably going to happen, which I bet Bo is expecting as well. Look for 4 Running backs to share some time. Especially from our two SEC transfers. We have a pretty talented OL that gets the job done. On Defense we run a 4-2-5 alignment mostly. Lots of speed in the backfield.
  9. Here is a little more on our Universities name sake... John McNeese (July 4, 1843 - June 5, 1914) was an educator in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and the first superintendent of schools of Imperial Calcasieu Parish. McNeese University in Lake Charles is named in his honor. Was actually a soldier in the Union Army but we forgive him for that. McNeese was born on July 4, 1843, McNeese was a businessman and rancher. In 1873, McNeese began a cattle drive from Central Texas to New Orleans, but due to a drought and the Panic of 1873, he was forced to end the drive in the Calcasieu area after crossing the Sabine River; he then sold his cattle and settled in near Lake Charles. McNeese earned his law degree from Tulane University; the next year, he became the first Superintendent of Schools of Imperial Calcasieu Parish. As superintendent, McNeese made numerous advancements to the state of education in the parish. In 1940, Lake Charles Junior College changed its name to John McNeese Junior College to recognize McNeese; this institution is now McNeese University. Looking forward to the game. I was there in 2002 but just can't make it there this time. I'll be sitting in front of the TV though.
