Going to see them in Lincoln in a few months. CANNOT WAIT! They may be my favorite still performing (for now) band.

Louisville just had a QB decommit and took an UOV to Oregon. Word is that visit went well and he is expecting an offer soon. If he gets it, he's committing to them. If he does, this may shut the door on TW having a spot in Oregon.

It's not just him, so many in the support staff are doing this now. DVDizzle has some great ones too.

Interesting, analytics have been going strong in MLB for awhile. The Warriors were leaders in analytics in the NBA, and they just won the NBA title. I'm all in, another thing to help our coaches put the players in the best position to win.

They'll both redshirt, IMO.
Bingo, then you have them duke it out for the starting gig as RS Fr
I would guess one will and one won't (if they both make it here). But, it's going to depend on depth and also how coaches feel about getting good future prospects at QB. They won't both RS. Either one will or both won't. Hate to be the pessimist here, but I see at least one of them not signing here.
I think both get here, I just don't think both graduate from UNL. Whomever finishes second between those two most likely transfers, IMO.

I like the 2 QB recruits. I think the QB upgrade is on the way.
Any chance either of the recruits, O'Brien or Wilson start as true freshmen? (Thought I'd start the QB controversy early )
A three year starter, with one year in the new system, and a few capable back-ups with a year in the system, being beaten out by a true FR, with only a few weeks in the system? I say no chance in hell. Though, I would expect to see one play in some blow out wins.

Lakers sucking up the offseason once again.
Can't help but feel that Kobe has a part to play in all this, which sucks.
I agree, it's hard to get top tier talent when they are basically being presented as second fiddle to a now injury prone past his prime legend. These guys want to shine and win now. Lakers just don't have it. And his contract is such that the Lakers can only bring in one, players are wanting to team up with another star. Kobe, as great as he is, not a great teammate and young stars don't want to be around him. That's why Dwight left, that's why LMA won't be signing with the Lakers, that's why Melo didn't. It's why Love didn't even give his home town team more than a passing glance. It'll be another long season as a Laker fan. Once his contract is off the books and they can sign 2 max worthy players, then there will be a draw, but until then, no chance.
Also doesn't help that the Lakers aren't really into analytics either. Behind the times on building a team. They have all the fluff pieces in place, just no direction. Still think they can do things the way the great Dr. Buss did things and that's not happening anymore. They've been blessed for last 35 years having arguably the best players in the game between Magic and showtime to Shaq and Kobe to Kobe and Pau. Now they have the Wizards version of Jordan in Kobe and no one to pair him with. It also doesn't look like the best player wants to be there (and I'm not sure after LBJ, who the best player in the game is) when even borderline stars don't want to go to LA for max money.

Kevin Love meeting with the Lakers, as is LaMarcus Aldridge. Lakers need a 5, not a stretch 4. I could potentially see Lebron leaving if Love leaves and the team gets worse. Though I don't see much competition in the East to really challenge the Cavs.
The West should be interesting, again. Portland looks like they are on the verge of a collapse, especially if they lose LA. Clips losing Jordan would be a blow, seeing where DMC lands will be critical, he won't play for Karl, Kings have no choice but to trade him and they won't get nearly the value they should for him. I expect Marc Gasol to stay with Memphis. Entertaining off season to keep me interested until football starts.
Love just resigned with Cleveland.
Disappointing, but makes sense. East is weak, with him, LBJ and a healthy Kyrie, all healthy, they should coast to the Finals to face a battle tested West team

it was my first job out of grad school..... like my first "this is my career" job. Boy what a nightmare... i got suspended once... got into fights with my coworkers, my boss hated me, intern chicks were scared of me... before summer they called me in and i thought i was doneskies..... but f#*k they wanted me back and didn't want to fire me (what a bunch of a$$hole$)!!!! However as i was slowly going insane listening to all this fat slippery taco/tampoon of a women talk to me all i could think of was my wedding in a week... most of my friends had already flown in and were already in the OBX getting wasted and snorting lines......
SOOO i basically went MIA for two weeks. I called them on my honeymoon (after ignoring all theirs calls) and said oh yeah in case you didn't figure it out i quit..... nothing line up no plans just married and a three year old kid....... honestly i didn't even put two and two together how potentially fuct i was.....
but literally a month later someone calls and hires me...but this boss turned out to be an EVEN big douche than the first boss so i quit that job too (or was i fired?!) i don't remember.. prob a little of both.... six months later i moved home.. now its all G... but yeah that my story
So you, your wife and kid are living in your mom's basement? Explains all of the HB posts
yes i do i not contribute much to this board.... but
1. NO i don't live in my moms basement (hawaii has no basements anyways)
2. I own my own house!!! jheah!!
3. I've got three kids now!!
But on the Lakers board I read you do much better.

Yeah, it's pretty ambiguous as to what he's referring to but...

Does this mean he will announce tonight or tomorrow? Because Jojo is Friday, and if he wants to be next, he needs to announce quickly.

I did last summer. I basically decided to live off of savings for the summer to spend it with my kids. Found a new job and started about a week before they went back to school. It was a great summer. Spent quality time with them at a time when they still want to be around me. We were able to afford to still do some small trips, go to Adventureland, went and stayed a week at Two Rivers. Had a lot of fun. Now I want to find a job working for the school so I can do that every summer.
Be an administrator. You can't be worse than 90% of them
Ha! Amen!
I did it twice...Both times it worked out just fine I guess.
Got to find an opening. Not sure how much my experience in finance will work for BPS, but I'm willing to try if they have an opening.

I saw Crue in 2005 at Pershing and it was great. My brother went last year and said Alice Cooper was better in the openeing act.
I hope that is not the case this time. Though I am really looking forward to seeing Alice Cooper also.
I'm seeing them this fall in Lincoln and while I love Alice, I hope he doesn't outshine Motley on one of their last shows as a band.

Queen
Michael Jackson
Guns N Roses
Woodstock
Early Motley Crue
Seen MC dozen times or so, Tommy Lee drum solos are just over the top insane. Would love to relive the Girls Girls Girls tour where the drum machine barrel rolled. I'm going to see them in Lincoln this fall. One of the last shows they will ever do.
Saw Guns with Skid Row at the Civic. That was another intense show. What could have been if Axl wasn't such an egomaniac.

1--I'd go back and relive the Beastie Boys/House of Pain concert at Peony Park. That concert was insane. Probably the best I've ever been too
2--Ozzy early to mid 80s
3--Metallica mid 90s
4--Beatles
5--Michael Jackson
Peony Park, there is a place I haven't thought about in a long time. Used to go to the swimming pool there occasionally when I was a kid.
I remember they did have some good shows of up and coming artist before they closed down. Early 90's right?
91 was for the Paul's Boutique tour. I don't know if Jump Around had even been released yet. It was a crazy show.

I'm trying to find where I read that Pittman said he'd prefer to play LB in college. I remember reading that a few months back and thought that's why Oregon had the lead. Now with him saying WR, I think that puts us in the lead.
-
Mav just posted in his thread that it no longer looks like he'll be making those other stops. At least for now.Alexander could commit and have his coach go back and talk to mom about the place
Aren't we the first stop on a 5 school trip? I don't think he'll commit while here. I think he'll visit all the schools then commit. I'd expect him to be officially a commit by end of June.
Saw that after I posted this. Interesting. I know his Mom is big on him making sure he explores all options before locking in on Nebraska. She doesn't want him regretting his choice like his brother did.
-
He's stated he'd rather play LB in college. Oregon is one of the few schools recruiting him for that side of the ball.

Gut feeling, based on academics and his desire to be a doctor, I'm going Cal as his choice. He reminds me a bit of Okafor. Academics are more important than football, he's not driven by the grid iron.
