As an independent, I will try my best to keep an open mind....hoping that someday there will be a reasonable conservative party.  But...so far.....I'm not seeing it.

As a former Republican straight line voter, the party I once knew is long dead and buried and taken over by a fascist, racist group that have no business calling themselves Republicans.

Cuban had them tank in order to get into the Wembanyama sweepstakes. I guess.

But given this year's West, I think the play in teams clustered at the bottom could be spoilers. It's bad mojo to tell your team to stop trying that close.

The truth is that Kyrie kinda poisons everything he touches.

Yeah some real shady ish that Cuban and staff are trying to pull.   Not sure if the NBA will be able to get enough evidence to corroborate what we all know happened though.

Kinda?   I think he full on douses everything he touches in arsenic.    I'm so glad the Lakers didn't get him at the deadline.  And I really hope we don't go all in on him this off season.

For the playoffs, if it can't be the Lakers, please let it be anyone but the dirty c-bags.    This Kings/Warriors should be a lot of fun.   Some nice side plots with Mike Brown and Harrison Barnes trying to beat their former team.    And the Kings getting disrespected, I think the Warriors are the biggest favorite in the 1st round.  Which is crazy for a 6th seed to be that big of a favorite.

Agree.  Have you ever had Tequila Mandala anejo?  Super good!

I've heard it's really good, haven't come across it in the wild to get, but I usually focus on the bottles in the $50-100 range.   If I notice it the next time I go, I'll have to splurge.

Regardless of bud lights tic tok marketing, why would anyone drink that piss water anyways.  Stop being a heather and drink a good beer or move to bourbon like most refined adults.

I'm a tequila guy, but point stands.   Bud Lite is for college when you can't afford good beer and haven't discovered good beers.

  5. What were to happen if a SCJ was arrested and jailed for tax evasion/fraud?    Would he still need to be impeached to find a replacement?   Or would this just be an 8 judge decision?   Lastly, does this open the door to throw out decisions of the SC that were 5-4, and if so, who makes that decision?

Losing team can't post on Twitter for the rest of the season?

Ja Morant and the Grizz will want to lose every all-star game just to protect him.

The NFL finally gave up and made their all-star game flag football. I didn't watch it (usually don't) but I heard it was an improvement.

This year's NBA all-star game seemed to be the last straw. The announcers couldn't help but mock it and even the coach said it was the worst game of basketball ever played. They gotta figure out an incentive.

How would you incentive players making 15-20 million a year?   I get this is a joke of a game and has been for years now.   With the money they are getting paid, not sure what would motivate them to treat this more than a glorified workout.

So why can't I have a bazooka then? I'm not a sociopath or diagnosed as mentally ill.

You actually can get a bazooka legally.   Just have to do a lot of paperwork and it's highly regulated....so it can be done (both the highly regulating and getting crazy a$$ weapons)

Gotcha. You had said that we just didn't have the right guy to form a "cohesive offensive plan."

I honestly felt like I observed the exact opposite; I felt like Frost's scheme, playbook, & philosophy on offense were good. At times almost bordering on great. But he & his coaches just didn't seem to be able to coach the players to be in the best place to perform great, and they couldn't get them into the right mindset to step onto the field and perform confidently & competently.

And we weren't just "not performing great." The team routinely looked like hammered dog s*** out there. But it wasn't because the game plan was too predictable or simple, etc.

I don't think that had anything to do with what the plan was on paper. I think the coaches sucked at coaching. And although it's waaaaaay too early to tell, Rhule seems to be more focused on what needs to be done during practice time, instead of just living up in the clouds with X's & O's being what wins a game.

Fair point.    Frost did have good schemes, but couldn't teach discipline.  That I feel was the biggest issue, boneheaded mistakes too many times.  And they were not emotionally stable enough to overcome their mistakes.   Seems like one mistake got in their head and led to a snowball.   I do think Rhule will be much more detail oriented and demand excellence.   I'm not sure if Frost demanded anything.

Listening to Rhule describe the scrimmage, it sounded a lot like what you should expect from a defense learning a new scheme.  At times you’d expect some missed assignments and so on. Guys eyes wrong, over pursuing, errors in coverages, etc.  Even for returning players, it has been 4 months away from tackling live in meaningful game like reps.   That’s the negative but, it is not a surprise.   I won’t be surprised to see some miscues in September but after just film and 6 practices, it is probably a net positive (for the defense).

The offense, on the other hand, must have been a big surprise to him. A new system, plays, players, etc.  Expectations can’t be too high.  But apparently the guys did well.  Rhule doesn’t seem like one to blow smoke.  He seems to be positive but honest and frank.  It sounds like he knows what he wants and demands it.  He runs a tight ship.  Everything in order down to the shoelaces and etc.  The details.   That’s where the devil is - but one can get lost in details and miss the big picture.  I’m guessing it is the discipline and his strict Rhule’s rule following that will really make a difference.   But there will be some players that may not buy in and or tend to stray from the path.  Those will get in the dog house, no matter their position or stars.

So far, Rhule is what he first seemed to be, and more.  He has a serious job to do.  He is taking it seriously.  The team - so far - is cooperating well.

I've felt for the last for the last few years, we have the pieces in place to have a special offense, even the line.   We just didn't have the right captain to form a cohesive offensive plan.   I think we have it now and am really excited to see an offense playing chess again.

Reports from practice are that Sims looks very good. Haarberg is reportedly the #2 guy right now and looking good. It’s going to be an interesting fall in the QB room.

I'm assuming once Thompson's yellow jersey comes off, he will be at worst #2 on the depth chart.

How would a progressive leftist define this reform?  What are the top three principles that will create more mental wellness?  Where would sexually charged books available to pre-teens fit in the list of top tenets for reform?

Why do progressives speak of guns as anthropomorphic weapons of war running rampant vs. the mental health crisis that is the real issue at a disproportionate ratio?

The bigger chasm is what progressives call good and healthy, many conservatives would disagree.  And vice versa.

I'm sorry, I made the questions too difficult for you to answer.   That was my bad.   Clearly we need better education reform, as I thought they were fairly simple questions.  Lesson learned on my part.   I'll let you go on with your propaganda posting without engaging you, as you are incapable of answering.

Too much world history of mass death after disarmament for my standards.

Reform mental health and the education system. Get sociopaths the help they need. Guns tend to do absolutely nothing by themselves.

Which party is preventing the reform of mental health and why?   Which party recently suggested removing the Department of Education?   Which party is trying to whitewash education?  Which party wants to make it easier to get guns?
