LeBron to opt out of $21.6M deal - free agent Wednesday
If the Cavs resign love and keep the core together he will stay with Cleveland. He is waiting for the management to make good offseason moves, so if they don't resign love or make bad moves Lebron might leave. I don't know about David Blatts job status but maybe Tyron Lue gets the head coachomg job because I see Lebron talk to him on the bench more. Anyway, this is all I have heard so far but I expect him to stay with the Cavs as long as they resign key players.
This really isn't about what the Cavs management does. LeBron has figured out how to play the NBA salary structure and is setting himself up for a massive contract when the new TV deals comes through and the cap goes way up. He has said that he is done taking discounts salary wise and by opting out of this contract he will make more money when he resigns for another short deal then grabs upwards of $30 million a year when the new long term deal comes down.
Yeah nice point about Lebron wanting more money I forgot to add that in my post. Hes done taking pay cuts I agree with that but the cavs make a few too many mistakes and he could be gone. I think the cavs can pay him the most but I could be mistaken, so I don't think he will bolt if they resign Love and I'm not sure what he thinks of Blatt but he obviously didn't respect him either. I don't believe that has anything to do with Lebrons decision though but Lue as HC might make him a little more happy in my opinion, especially bringing a well known assistant with him. But yeah Lebron want money and championships is what it comes down to with him, make money and win the Finals.

LSU was the national champion coming into the 2004 season they expected to pummel oregon state at home. OSU came into LSU and lost 22-21. Why is this important? OSU frosh kicker shanked a PAT that would have tied the game. A bad OSU team or thought of as an easy win by many almost beat #1 team in the country. I did not see a competitive game against a team ranked 20th in the country on the road in 2014 for Nebraska. Riley brings these kind of games and I will be happy, if hes at Nebraska he probably beats LSU.
Note the kicker shanked a PAT 3 times, the same guy................

The other guys got the cooler jerseys so he is like fine I'm outta here lol.
I want to see this interesting rotation of three big men in three years, maybe they get some shooting and lob it in the post a lot. Also not sure if Embiid will play much due to injury but we shall see.

It really feels bad to lose an in state kid that lives in Lincoln, but I get where he is coming from. He has nothing against Nebraska and still loves this place, but he feels better with ASU/another football team. I wish him the best of luck and I still think he will be a solid prospect for whoever gets him.

Arizona State has a football team?

I expect Riley to exceed peoples expectations and have a good first year. I think we have a favorable schedule this year so if he wins lots of games now it will help him in the future when we play those tough teams in the coming years. I still believe though that Riley will be able to beat the powerhouses in the B1G and be competitive in those big games. I am willing to be patient for now because he has not played one game yet, I don't have a timetable for him as he needs some time to get his guys to get us to greatness. My prediction is after the Riley tenure Nebraska will be respected like it used to be again.

Bummer to see him not get drafted, but hopefully he can make some noise in the D-league and maybe get called up to an NBA team.
Feel bad for Knicks fans if that European big man doesn't work. Stephen A Smith was going off about it on ESPN on Sportscenter afterward and he was on vacation.
-
Any mock drafts have him being drafted?
nbadraft.net has him going at number 41 to Brooklyn, so he would be second round pick with no guaranteed contract.

Yes! Welcome to Nebraska Jack.

ESPN updated their ESPN300 today, but POB didn't make the cut. He is a 4* and the #16 rated pocket QB.
Yeah I looked at the pocket passer QBs on ESPN and number 13-20 all have a four star 80 overall rating. None of them made the ESPN 300 so POB and the rest didn't make it probably because most of the pocket QBs have the same rating. Also, if they gave one of those players an ESPN 300 all of them would have to get one I guess according to ESPNs rankings.

Some kid that transfered from a small school in Minnesota to Allen, Texas. Not sure he will even start for his team this year.So what does Oregons QB commit list look like?
ESPN has him as the same rating as Terry Wilson, but has the Oregon kid at tenth out of Dual-Threat QBs and TW is 11th. In my book the difference between 10th and 11th is nothing and Terry Wilson could be better then the Oregon kid.

Were not even in the final 2
Its USC or Oregon
Did you get this from a source or speculation?
Just curious cause it would be huge if MP was N.

I think he will make us great again but most importantly we will be competitive against good teams and be able to beat them with few blowouts to superior teams.

Does anyone else think that making a New Years six bowl helps with recruiting too not necessarily winning the championship?

USA beat Germany 2-1, Wood has two game winners and that kid looks good. This German team was good and had a few injuries but so did the USA. It was not the German C or D team either so good overall win for the USA against the number one team in the world.

I think Tommy is better than stave and he is the best in the west. Staves best year was last year(2013) where he threw for 2494 yards but had Jared Abbrederis make up about 40 percent of his total yards. This may or may not be a good comparison since Stave sat the first five game, he threw for 1350 yards, but tommy threw more yards(2695) and threw 53.3 percent on the season. Stave threw 53.4 but had less games so he could have done better or worse. Tommy has a better receiving core and will most likely throw the ball more than Stave and Wisconsin and so I say Tommy will be better and is better based on stats with potential for 2015 as a factor as well.

I thought the BTN guys made a fair analyses, but I hope Tommy hits those easy passes like it was said above. Mike and co know what they want to do with him, so hopefully we see improvement in all aspects of his game.

Lots of the recent posts on this thread are off topic. I came to read about Patrick today and nothing new on him at all. Some of these recent posts would do well in a new thread.

Dang it, Arizona State beat us on this one.

Shaq posted this video on his blog, good to see Shaq taking notice of Demornay. I can't wait to watch this kid light it up in the fall.

The Wisconsin game dynamic has completely changed now that we have a defense that is built to stop the run first and foremost. We aren't trotting out the 100th ranked run defense like in the Pelini era. We have a great shot to win that game, I think we win at home.
Take away Wisky run game and they fall apart. They have little talent on the perimeter or at QB.
Great post I agree 100 percent. Lets see how good this Wisconsin team really is when they have to throw in close game situations. They may improve in the passing game next year but they won't get drastically better.

The deal isnt covering a 35 point spread
To think we are even talking about NU getting pummelled by Wisconsin by 35-50 pts is rather revealing itself
The deal is can we win this game
Looking at what they have coming back and what we have coming back and then looking at both teams and a Wisconsin team that is changing little with a 1,000 yard rusher back and whose strength on Defense is what we will be trying to exploit.
That is in no way a toss up game
We stand very little to no chance of picking up a win there.
Yes they have a great running back coming back on offense, but who else? They don't have a stud receiver to throw to and lets see what happens if Joel Stave has to throw a lot in this game. We have more weapons on offense, but I agree they have a solid defense but offensively who do they have besides an O-Line and Clement? We will have to wait and see what happens but I would say we have a good chance to win this game. Home opener for conference games and we will have a lot to play for this game. Our team is going to play hard and nasty wearing our away jerseys at home since we lost to Wisconsin in Madison we wear our away jerseys. They will be playing for another chance to get to Indy, but they may not come out so sharp as they have in the past. I think we have a great chance to win this game, but to make a prediction or anything I will first have to see how we play earlier in the season.

Are you a troll?
All you do is post the exact same stuff and we get it so please stop.
Not everyone cheers for Nebraska with a foam finger so why do you keep saying all fans cheer for Nebraska and have unrealistic expectations for this season? People can think we will win 9 plus games that is a high possibility. I am going to give Riley a chance to coach and win games and improve our image team and program.
