Oh well Michigan fans can once again watch their hopes fade as the rankings get lower and lower for them once again. Besides they shouldn't be ranked that high because he said it best when he said "when was the last time this team lived up to it's expectations!" Well then why are you ranking them so high rank them to their real expectations rank them below 25th!!!

I would rather start out low and then climb the rankings than start out high and maybe lose a few and then fall out of the rankings. I want people to underestimate us that way when we beat them it's that much sweeter just like the Alamo Bowl!!!

I'm surprised someone with ESPN would say anything remotely good about the Huskers! I was very impressed this year with the way Taylor stayed in the pocket and took the hit but still delivered the ball. However I don't want to see him take any more of those hits next year. He needs to move a little in the pocket but I will say he is one TOUGH SOB!!!

No matter what you do there is always going to be a "splinter cell" of fans so to speak that will complain about any little thing that is going wrong with the program. That is what is fun about being so passionate about your team but at the same time I realize it can drive you crazy!!!

Hope you come home safe before next football season to watch the Huskers rise back to where they belong..........................ON TOP!!!

I think that this will definately help NU next year and will also build up our confidence even more. We are developing into a good team and illinihusker is right I don't want to beat Texas and USC only because their top players left. I want to beat them because we are just that good. GBR

Anyone else notice Lienarts comment after the game about USC being the better team on the field that night or something to that effect. My jaw dropped when I heard him say that.

 

Yeah that made me laugh he was just upset that his team just got beat by basically Vince Young and his running ability. Also I was really rooting for the Longhorns to win because I was tired of hearing about USC as well. Now that Texas has won congratulations but come next year YOU WILL DIE!!! GBR!!!

I had a guy at work that wanted to give me tickets to the game but there was no way I could get off of work to go!!! He told me like 3 days in advance that he had just gotten them so needless to say I was pissed!!! But I got to watch the game at home by no means is this like the real thing but I want to get tickets to the Texas vs. Nebraska game next year any suggestions as to where I can get some???

I'm so sick and tired of hearing about USC I could just explode!!! Come January 4th for one day I am a Longhorns fan!!! I hope and pray they stomp the hell out of USC!!!

Hey maybe all the Michigan fans that are whining can get together and have one big cry&hug!!! I'm not talking about the Michigan fan that came on this site and congratulated the Huskers on their win. I'm talking about the crybaby above who just needs an excuse as to why his team lost. They played bad we played good story over next subject!!!

I hope we rank good in the preseason polls but I also have a feeling that we won't be ranked and if we are it will be like 25th. Hopfully we can prove them all wrong and climb back up the ranks by beating Texas and USC.

I would have to agree I really can't wait until next year. I think with Reggie Bush leaving (most likely) and Matt Leinart leaving, USC is beatable. They have won for so long the streak has to come to an end sometime. What better time than against The Big Red! I think next year we will have a better team than we do now and they will know the offense even better. IMO I think we can give them a run for their money. GBR Also I think we can take Texas.

I watched the game again today since I taped it on my DVR (yeah I got problems) and I got goosebumps from seeing so many red shirts in the stands. It was awesome way to go Husker faithful that's how a team travels! It was like homefield advantage!

I agree that Beck will get some playing time next year but it won't be as a starter, unless for some reason Taylor was to get hurt by some of the monsterous hits that he stands in there and takes. The problem is those hits are going to take there toll but Taylor is by far one of the toughest QB's I have ever seen. I can't wait until next year!!! GBR

Yeah I talked to a Michigan fan today at my gym and he was saying the same thing about Nebraska being on the field when clearly on the replays you can see Michigan coaches and players out on the field and when the play is coming down the Michigan sideline the coaches start pulling some of the players back out of the runners way!!! Bottom line we won you lose get over it GBR!!!

I think it would have been off-setting penalties and the game would have ended either way what a good game! We showed the critics that Nebraska is better than they think!! GBR

Yeah if Nebraska comes out like they did against Colorado I think it will turn out to be one heck of a bowl game. Not saying by any means that Colorado is at the same level as Michigan we just have to come out firing on all cylinders!!!

I have to agree that Iowa fans are rediculous, being from Iowa you should have heard these people before the season started. Oh we are going to go to the national championship no one can beat us blah blah blah................and Iowa State did what to you.......................Oh yeah beat your a$$.....................way to go Iowa. Good article most of it was pretty true except like they said above the once proud blackshirts. But I think it will be a great bowl game and I can't wait for next wednesday.

Don't even give this guy the time of day he's just coming on here being a jerk to try and get us mad. As far as I'm concerned he can be put in the same class as colorado fans and I can't take anyone in that class seriously. All I have to say is we will see who wins come December 28th so Michigan should bring their A game because their gonna need it.
